I use this to take my water for the day along with me. The water at my workplace is...lets say hard to drink. Additionally, I rarely have time to leave my workspace so I take this growler, fill it up at home in the morning, use it to fill my regular water bottle when it is gone, and the growler keeps my water the perfect temperature all day. I imagine if I used it for beer as it was intended, it would be just as satisfying. The screws holding the handle look secure, I plan on checking them for tightness every few weeks or so (I had a smaller and lower quality version of this and the bottom screw eventually worked its way out over the span of 10 months).
Works as a growler should. I like the wide opening for easy pouring and cleaning. Let's face it, the best part of this is the design and call back to the older Stanley thermos. Absolutely love it
