Works well with Xfinity Stream

Not sure why Xfinity still has their App in Beta status. It’s been available for quite a while. I bought the Roku to replace a $10/month box from Comcast. The hardware was easy to install. After connecting to the internet, It immediately starts downloading updates for its Apps. Xfinity is NOT preloaded by Roku so that’s an extra step. But once it was downloaded, it worked great. It’s small enough to take with you when you travel. You’ll just have to hook it up and connect to the Internet.

Don't be afraid of refurbished items, this one works like new.

Using this every single day since I got it, I have had zero problems. A Roku is a must have for any cord cutters. It will bring you more content than you could possibly have time to watch in any given day. Buying a refurbished Roku (or any item, really) is a great way to save a few more bucks.

Great things come in small packages

I was surprised by how tiny this thing is. Almost the size of the stick, only a little wider. And the micro power slot along with the HDMI. Came with a HDMI cable, though I didn't need it. Have an extra for later. The power cable is actually USB with an adapter to plug in. So the USB is good if you're out of outlets. The Roku itself is definitely faster than my old one, which was a HD. This premiere is so much nicer than what I'm used to, and the price was right.

It's Roku

One of the better streaming devices out there that isn't a Fire stick. Has tons of content and "channels" you can add, although I would argue some content is available on Fire TV and Stick, that Roku does not have, but one of the major reasons I got this was for the Xfinity Stream app, which is only available on Roku devices, aside from a handful of Samsung TVs and mobile. Saved money with going the "renewed" (Refurbished) route. Everything looked great and came in excellent condition, just came in a brown box instead of official Roku packaging. Had no issues registering the Roku to my account. Just a basic remote is included though, so if you like voice features, you may want to plunk down a few more dollars for the Premier version.

Camping

Purchased this for our RV trips. Works great, just make sure the campground area has WiFi access.
