Perfect for Young Babies

This little rattle has lots of different textures and patterns to keep the baby interested. The diameter of the ring is perfect for tiny baby hands to be able to wrap their thumb and fingers all the way around it. The beads on the inside are small and light, so while it does make a rattle sound it isn't very loud at all. The ball is a good size for babies to chomp down on without being able to shove the whole thing in their mouth when their too young to figure out how to pull it back out again. This is a fun, engaging and interesting toy for young babies. There's no paint to chip off or anything, so it's nice to not worry about that. This is a great toy and I'll probably be buying more rattles/toys by this brand!

great rattle

My husband and I wanted a simple rattle for our son, one he could hold easily with his tiny hands. We decided on this rattle and it was definitely a good choice. Well worth it for the price. My son loved it! He got it at 3 months, and still uses it at 7 months now. It's super easy to hold, not heavy, pretty colors (black and white, green and blue/turquoise), easy to chew on. It's a big ring so it slides on and off his hand and arm without any problems. He would chew on it and fall asleep with it around his arm.

Great early toy & teether

My baby started howling at 3 months and I went on a teething shopping spree. From month 3 to 4 this was by far her favorite toy. It's still in the rotation at 6 mos. I would give this as a baby shower gift in the future as it's an excellent "first toy". It's light, easy to hold, makes noise, the rings were fascinating to my babe. As a bonus you can wear it as a bracelet yourself, so it's easy to take with you if you're a walker / public transit user like I am. Cons: Wish the hard clear plastic part was the soft rubber instead. As for teething, I'd say this is light-duty all day soother as opposed to something to calm/sooth when times are tough. For that we go to fridge teether and a frozen ring. She only likes the frozen ring when she's having a hard time, but she really likes it then. Also, a wide steel spoon dipped in ice water is a fav.

Love This Toy!

I purchased this for my son almost 13 years ago when he was around 4-5 months. He loved it and it was the only toy he kept in his hand. When he started to teeth, he would bite down on the ball. Now I have a 5 month old daughter. I just handed her the same toy and she constantly grabs for it, holds it and shakes it. Keeps her real busy for about 20 minutes which is a lot of time for me to shower without her looking for mommy.

the favorite toy of my child for now

It is a favorite toy of my son (4 months). It is very nicely made and I am not concern giving it to him. It fits his hands well: in fact it was the first toy he learned how to hold, than it was the first toy he started to grab. Finally, recently he started to move toys from one hand to another and once again: it was this toy. I know that all kids are different, but this toy obviously has a strong potential to become the favorite toy of your kid as well.

Baby loves it! And so do I!

My baby loves this rattle! I got two different kinds, and this one is by far the favorite. He liked it at 3 months, and he's liking it at 5 months. It has 2 different sounds - the tiny balls inside the large ring, and the 3 colored rings that clack together. Between the two sounds, and the variety of gripping/chewing areas (including the dotted ball, there are 3 different surface textures on the large ring), the baby can be entertained for several minutes at a time on his own, and several more minutes of watching me rotate the rattle and have the colored rings flop all over. A couple of times, he's even stopped screaming and fallen asleep, hypnotized by the moving, clattering rings (a HUGELY appreciated trait in our household). I'd highly recommend this rattle for any baby!

Son likes it a lot!

My son was not a huge fan of this when I first purchased it (around 2-3 months) and wouldn't even pay any attention to it. He's now 6 months and has been absolutely loving this rattle for about a month now, and it's probably because it has some nice texture to it and he can chew on it. He does try to shove the entire ball into his mouth, but other than that, he has chewed on every part of this toy without any issues. It's a good size for him to use and chew on, and he seems to enjoy the colors. For the price, this was a really great toy for him and he has at least enjoyed it for a little bit of time now and probably will keep using it as he teethes more.

Shake, Rattle and Fun

Who knows how long my little one will love this toy but from the moment I bought it, it has been a favorite of hers. I keep it in her car seat and I swear every time she is in there she looks for it. Usually her big sister provides it and hands it to her which she shakes with a passion. For the add-on price if 2.99 it was worth every penny! It makes a great rattle noise and it catches her eye. I thought that the black and white might be boring but it seems that she loves this toy more than others. Sassy makes some great toys for kids and every time I buy their brand I'm never disappointed. If you are looking for an extra toy to provide some distractions to your little one this would be a great addition or would make a perfect little add on gift for a baby shower.

Cute Rattle

This is a darling little rattle that I bought for my friends newborn son Luke. The set has cute masculine colors and also has beads that show movement inside the rattle. I like the moveable rings on the outside of the large ring to keep little hands busy and occupied. It's easy for the baby to grip and has different patterns and a modern look. I really think it's cute and a great buy!
