Definitely worth the price!
Crystal clear pick up, I haven't tested the distance yet but it works great when I'm outside of the house. The battery doesn't last long but we use rechargeables so we aren't wasting money throwing away batteries. Definitely worth the price of 18$!

Happy with this purchase especially for the price. I bought it so I could hear my grandson, who's 4 years old, in case he woke up while I am outside on my porch. It works great! However, I would recommend something better and with a camera for a newborn.
