I am upgrading from X6 version, and so far I see lots of improvements and new features. There is some learning curve, but it is worth it. It makes my job so much easier and I can achieve more. Make sure you go to their website and watch tutorials. I really like that is pay once and have it forever deal. Well, it will not be forever, eventually it will stop working because of obsolete tech, but at least I will not have to pay yearly extortion fee as with other software. I was able to install it on two of my computers with no problem, using the same sign in. There is an app available but I have not tried it yet, my phone might be too old for that. The computer side also requires a lot of resources and it is better to exceed their minimum requirements by a big margin for more comfortable and fast work.

I'm a first time user of graphics software of any kind. I recently was gifted a graphics tablet, so when this software showed up I jumped on it. Install is easiest imaginable. You do need to be connected to the internet - what you have for installation is actually a link - but it was pretty quick and painless. I thought the best part of the product were all the tips, tricks, and tutorials available. Learning to use the various functions was pretty straightforward. Of course, becoming a digital artist is more than using the tools, but the technology won't get in the way of your expressing creativity. It's reasonably user friendly and intuitive. I'd say the most surprising thing to me as a new user was that what you print is what you saw on the screen. The colors in the program are vivid and true to what you print out, so you get what you expect to get. I also found the various templates and layouts useful. Having those layouts designed up front means that getting exactly the look you want when you print a brochure without a lot of trial and error saves time and makes everything simpler. I'm still learning my way around, and figuring out what can be done with this software, but it's my favorite application in several year. I can do stuff with it, even as a complete amateur, and get great outcomes even when you know practically nothing. I love it!

I’m not a frequent user. I drive AutoCAD, complex and animated .ppt and more lately .pub for bid and proposal development. I use it situationally when I need it to create a better proposal. I would never refer to myself as “Expert.” I upgrade about every 5 years which quickly recycles me back to novice. The Corel DRAW suite has always been extensive. Without every day and frequent use, it takes me about 5 years to figure my way through about all the features. A few things are noticeable in this edition on opening. There’s been significant behind the scenes software work done. With Corel’s re-integration with the MacOS via a complete rewrite, the DOS user is benefiting with a slicker suite. Stuff happens quicker; multiple stuff happens smoothly and fixing stuff seems much improved delivering the improved user experience. The 2019 edition goes further integrating more elements to deliver the quick-change tools and apps that were awkward. It’s the first Corel edition to integrate with web apps. A new mainstay feature called “object docker” is an excellent addition. I can edit effect settings without unbundling the whole. There are several upgrades promised to enable cloud share editing which should or could make jobs more customer friendly and exciting. Among disciplined team members, cloud sharing should produce a better product. The inclusion of ParticleShop is new territory. There’s enough new app integration here to divert your routine processology onto some interesting experimental side roads. Since it only just arrived, I've done some basic logo work with it. I've not had the opportunity to put the full power of what is now a vast suite of tools and accessories to full use. However, it seems like fire from Olympus.

I had to have my son help me set this up, but I’m not really technically savvy so I can’t really blame the product. I was able to understand and navigate pretty good. As a writer and Artist I love all the options. The pixels are good and it really gets the creative juices flowing. I have a feeling I’ll be exploring new and exciting tools on this program for weeks to come. Right now I’m just focused on one project. I’ve had no problems so far with precision or design. It’s great for at home Artists, but I think a professional graphic designer etc would find it extremely useful too.

When Adobe went to the subscription model, it sent a lot of people searching for an alternative to their products. It was almost as if they had the number one spot, and they were looking for a way to screw things up. Well, I don't know if they succeeded or not, but I know for me - it made me realize that I didn't use their software enough to pay the monthly fee. When I did the math, and then thought of all the times I wasn't using the software, I realized that it wasn't a profitable way for me to purchase the software. I had already been using other Corel products, like Paint Shop Pro (a very comparable alternative to PhotoShop) and several other Corel software products. So the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 with ParticleShop Brush Pack made sense to try. That is one VERY NICE feature about Corel products too. You can download the entire product online for free and use it for a month and see if it works for you. If it does, you simply pay to license it and you keep right on going from where you left off. I understand another reviewer's complain about the software not being on the disk, and it just having a loader program - but I can't knock the actual software that much for an issue that isn't likely to ever affect me and an issue that has nothing to do with the day-to-day operation of the programs. So let's get to that... the operation of these programs. First, you get Corel PHOTO-PAINT 2019 (64-Bit) which is a very competent photo editor - not QUITE as extensive as Core's Paint Shop Pro (from what I can tell) but still able to do most everything you are likely to need to do in Corel Draw) and pretty easy to use. You also get Corel Font Manager 2019 (64-Bit) which is a very handy program that lets you keep track of the fonts you have, and use in different projects. It is a program you might not have even thought you needed - but it is a great tool! There is also Corel CAPTURE 2019 (64-Bit) which helps you scan and organize anything you have captured for use in Corel Draw and of course CorelDRAW 2019 (64-Bit) itself - the main event. CorelDRAW is a full featured illustration program that will let you do anything you need to do in order to draw, paint or otherwise illustrate. It uses all of the tools and libraries out there and does everything you would expect a professional drawing program to do. I recommend it highly. ONE WARNING: If you don't have experience in this level of professional drawing programs, you are not going to sit down with this program and start painting a masterpiece. You will need to know, or learn (included are excellent demo videos and training) how to use the software. But it is immensely powerful and able to do whatever you want or need it to do! It is not cheap, but you "own" the license to use it for as long as you like, no monthly fees - it is yours. If this is your life's work or serious hobby, you cannot go wrong by downloading the free demo and trying it out. if you don't like it, you will know you tried it - and if you do like it, you can buy it and it is yours! I like Corel and I think you will too. I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. If you ask something and I don't get back quickly, please check my profile page and email me and I will try to respond as soon as I see it. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

When I attended art school many, many moons ago, I was trained on Quark software for the Mac but when it came for me to buy a computer, I chose a PC simply because software options were vastly limited for the Mac back then. So, over twenty years ago my love affair with Corel design and art programs started — and continues today. This new version of CorelDraw design software is, like all other Corel products, subscription free; unlike PhotoShop and is powerful and chocked with many improvements. One of which is the CorelDraw App which allows the user to create their projects on a mobile device. I have included a screenshot of the interface. I strongly recommend this design and art program to the professional and amateur alike. It has anything you could possibly need to bring your creations to life.

Ok, first of all, I'm a total font nerd, so truly, just having the amazing Corel Font Manager is totally worth the price of this package! That said, I used to use the entire Adobe Creative Suite for graphic/web design. I am not about to pay the monthly fees to them, and I hate working on the cloud when it comes to graphics - even with a fast internet connection, it's crazy slow sometimes! So with this, I'm totally converted! This does all I need for print and web graphics work from drawing to photos and the interface is actually much more intuitive than Adobe.

I would guess that most people who own this software are professionals. I am not. I want to talk to you from a hobbyist's POV. I want to tell you there is super-duper value and worth and power in this Graphics Suite as a hobby. It can be a mind-saver. It's a valuable tool to grow your creativity. It is astounding: Just what a burst of creativity can do for your psyche, your soul, your spirit. I am telling you true. It can add beauty and anticipation, ingenuity and confidence, expectation and hopefulness. What I'm talking about is a different perspective from the usual: Yes, this is a great tool to aid professionals in their work. BUT, it's a great way to play, a great way to settle yourself down after an unfulfilling or depressing day. You spend your days working in a cubicle? Commute an hour each way in a vehicle? Are you surrounded by shallow-minded, narrow-minded, mean-spirited individuals? People who want to beat you down, rather than bring you up? With this software, you can carry yourself away from all that. Years ago, I started with an older copy of Corel Painter, then upgraded several times. I was astounded by the creativity of Painter. I still love it. It has greatly broadened my horizons. It's kept my brain sharp and given me something to think about and strive to achieve. And I realize a sense of accomplishment and I feel amazement when I learn another technique or trick. So, it was a natural step to move to the Graphic Suite. Where Painter is amazing in scope, this Graphic Suite seems to have infinite possibilities. I can only say, "WOW!" My mind whirls with anticipation, every time I open up the program. What could be better than that? If you have a knack for learning, and a common-sensical approach to getting acquainted with software programs, I'm telling you that you can tackle this program yourself. You don't need to have someone sitting next to you guiding your hand. And it's really helpful to participate in Corel's webinars and to watch the great assortment of videos available. If you are a parent with school-age children, you might be thinking that you'll need to table this possible hobby for years. But, think of your children and what they could accomplish with it, if it was just sitting there, open and available? I could touch on all the highlights and the new and improved features of this Graphics Suite 2019, but Corel has done an exceptional job of doing that already. (They always do come up with a fine advertising blitz, and they always provide superb instructional videos and webinars.) And professional reviews are all over the internet already. If Corel products in general or this Corel Graphic Suite 2019 in particular are new to you, I strongly suggest you spend a good amount of time studying the large amount of info available to you. Just the amount of information--generously and conscientiously shared--should indicate to you that this software is top-notch and is a worthwhile consideration. In my many years of using Corel products, I have come to realize that they really do want their software to work for you. They continually upgrade. They are conscientious in listening to suggestions and criticisms. And, maybe an invasion of privacy, but they keep you abreast of upgrades, new information, learning opportunities and new products. Some extra info: This "exclusive" version for Amazon is a set of brushes. After the program installation, the package of brushes is easily downloadable. Also, I had no trouble at all installing this program. It took about 25 minutes or so; no glitches at all. I opted for a custom installation, just so I could see all that would be installed before it actually did so. I ended up installing all of the features, and I've not found any of it to be worthless add-ins that invaded my privacy or work flow.

As an entrepreneur working on a small budget, I have decided to learn and do as much as I can in-house, starting with label design and graphics for my website. I have no graphic design experience, but where this software has been amazing for me is the many tutorials it has to help me get my feet wet and learn all of the tools and tricks. I devote some time to it each day and feel more and more confident about all that I am learning and putting to use. Professionals will certainly love and get the most from this software, but don't be afraid to start from square one!

I have used other graphics programs and found them useful, but they lacked some features or charged a monthly fee and I really do not like programs that charge monthly fees. CorelDraw is a program that I own outright and it includes all of the features I need for working with my laser cutter and other hobbies. Pros Quick and easy install Great tutorials included with the product and online Brush pack is a nice addition Whether working SVG, PNG, JPG or the many other file types this program has it all Program opens quickly and is very responsive Cons None noted
