It works fantastic so far! My husband thought I was silly for ordering this since we rarely see snow in Seattle but now he’s thanking me. :) pulled 7 inches off our roof to turn around and pull 8 more off the next day. Even if we only use it this winter I’m glad we got it. Very easy to assemble and use.

Just unboxed, assembled and used the rake on about 2 feet of powder and crusty snow in northern Maine. Could not be more pleased!

Just used it for the first time. Assembly was simple and the unit stores well. Cheaper than what i found at Lowes and Home Depot and better quality.

We moved into a Townhome with a problem. The roof valley dumps right on or front stoop and srairs creating an icy situation. We've owned roof rakes in the past that were "sections" that coupled together. Both the previous rakes were lighter but problematic from a storage standpoint. Not a problem when we lived in our "house". This was a good alternative - at least so far. It retracts to one piece. It's pretty long when fully extended. One nice thing is that you can create an infinite amount of lengths to work with. It's VERY adjustable. Looks to be strong walled aluminum tubing. Couplings are plastic but heavy duty. It is heavier than my other rakes but the trade off is acceptable to me. It remains to be seen that it's connection parts will stand the test of time. My fear is that the "torque" created at the lock joints when using it will eventually lose grip and slip. They are plastic against aluminum. We shall see. If that should happen - could be years if even - I have a "fix" in mind. I'll use the heck out of it this winter and reassess in the spring.

Everything about the product is fantastic. Easy to put together and totally adjustable. Works great. Unfortunately FedEX is not the best carrier to deliver it because they could't get their truck here on the day promised. UPS and USPS were all delivering so my only suggestion would be to stop using FedEx. They kept saying it would be delivered today, but they said it for four straight days.

In my non-expert view this is a sturdy, well-made roof rake and I love the telescoping pole as there are no separate extensions to deal with. I had started putting the rake together when I discovered an unusual, probably one-in-a-million problem and could not complete the assembly. I emailed Ohuhu about the issue and half-expected a frustrating reply, but was pleasantly surprised by Ohuhu's quick, friendly, and respectful response. After a few friendly email exchanges the problem was resolved stress-free, and in a most satisfactory way. Good product, and a good company.

Very pleased -21ft is long enough to reach entire roof -perfect angle on head which slides on snow up the roof and pulls snow back down -if you use it upside down it’ll push snow like a plow -rubber handle Insulates from the cold body of the rake - very flexible allowing for good angles, I was able to pull the snow off my flat sunroom roof from the ground

I bought this rake primarily for my solar panels. It works great with the exception of of my panels. The patches get in the way of clean sweeps half the time. Just have to work around. NBD. I chose this model because of the plastic blade and haven’t had any issues with the solar panels. I used on my actual roof today and it was great. We are just cleaning up after a blizzard in WNY. I had about 2.5 feet on the roof and this had no problem. Hopefully it will eliminate ice dams with the melting and refreezing.

Liked that fact that it was easy to assemble and easy to use--our snowfall this past month is over 36" and so our roof of home and garage needed some quick attention to prevent ice jams. Delivery was a bit off--we paid $8.00 for an overnight and didn't get it until 2 days afterwards.

To clean the snow off my solar panels was the reason I purchased this product. I had borrowed a neighbors and found it worked well. I am pleased with it and would purchase it again. I am able to clean everything needed from an extension ladder leaned up against the side of the house without having to climb up on the roof. An important capability with one close to 70 years old...
