Good stuff !
Got this to share with my Apple iPad and to free up some space. Going to be getting a newer iPad and this device will act as a space saver via an external ssd. Also can make use of sd cards and usb flash drives. very nice device......very useful. Hats off to Ravpower!

Works.....really well!
The File Hub W009 works really well. I am using it with a 1TB hard drive (compatible with IPad, IPhone, and IPod). I transferred SD disc to the Hard Drive in JPEG and NFT files, which moved over very quickly to the Hard Drive. I am able to review and edit files on my IPad Pro, all in the field using Adobe LR. The battery powered RavFileHub and battery powered hard drive worked without external power, which makes this combination very workable. I have bought and used 6 different RavPower items that all work flawlessly. I bought a large 26800mAh power pack, smaller 16750mAh power pack, 2 camera batteries with charger, two 30W 3 port USB wall chargers and this latest addition of the FileHub WD009. I am really pleased with the quality and functionality of all the items from RavPower.

EASY backup from SD Card to Thumb Drive
I purchased this FileHub primarily for use as a way to back up my SD Card while traveling internationally. I began by downloading and installing the App, "RAV FileHub" on my cell phone. No problem. It is VERY easy to use the FileHub to transfer images from SD to USB thumb drive... insert the SD card into the FileHub, plug in the thumb drive (or other USB storage device), and push one button. Sit back and watch the blinking lights while the pictures and video are being transferred. While I have not yet transferred large numbers of files, it worked flawlessly in my trial runs. Also, the weight and volume of the "system" to do these transfers is insignificant and ideal for traveling. There are several other features of this unit; however, I have not yet had a reason to try them. My only difficulty was learning how to turn on the unit. The User Guide says to push the power button. When I did that, the battery LED lit up, and I assumed the unit to be on--but it wasn't. Only the LED to show the battery strength was on. To get the unit fully turned on, you need to hold down the power button for about 3 seconds. Then, other LEDs turned on as expected, and the unit is fully on and performs as expected. I had to contact user support to get this "3 second clue" regarding the power button... They were MOST helpful and offered to send me a new unit if we couldn't get mine to operate. But mine did operate just fine--once I learned how to turn it on. ;-)

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST WAY TO OFFLOAD IPHONE PICS AND VIDEOS
If you have an iPhone and a windows PC and don’t like using iTunes to transfer your media files, this will be one of the best tech solutions you can buy! I shoot A LOT of video with my iPhone. Even though I have a 256gb version, I still run out of space, especially I shoot in 4K. Trying to remove files outside of the iTunes system has been a nightmare, until now. If you have those same issues, this RAVPOWER FileHub is the solution! It makes transferring files simple again. I have seen some comments that give bad reviews stating that their file transfers fail. I have successfully transferred hundreds of files with this device, and yes, I have experienced file transfer failures, but it’s not because the hardware is failing. When you transfer a file, the software does not cut and paste. Instead it copies and pastes. This means that the software is making a copy of the file in order to paste it somewhere else. If you only have let’s say 50mb of space left, but try to copy a 100mb file, you will get a failure. So the answer is to move and delete 50mb worth of files, now you have 100mb free. Then copy and delete 100mb worth of files, so forth and so on until you have enough free space to copy and delete large files. For those having issues, give the method above a try, I’m sure you will have success.

Can't I rate this 6 stars?
This is a BARGAIN below $60. Avoids the hassle of having to set up & agree to a hotel Wifi agreement on all your devices, by letting you do it on just 1 device through the router! You can even set up the SSID for them to link to your router before you leave home for more relaxation time on vacation, so all your other devices just connect automatically after you connect to the hotel's/resort's internet. Ever have internet go out on you during a vacation or wish your portable device had more storage space? I was able to stream content to an android tablet, iPhone and Roku from both the SD card and USB drive attached even without internet. The 5G band really helps to avoid lag/buffering you might otherwise get with higher 1080p bit-rate content. No complaints. Nice compact size to. The internal battery means it can even temporarily operate without power, such as when I used to to stream videos from storage while in a vehicle.

Awesome Customer Service!
Update, after posting my review about having issue with transfers, the seller reached out and offered a replacement. I have not had an issue with the replacement device. I've been able to copy GB files over to my iphone and ipad for editing. Works great!

Great streaming device
I really like these kind of devices, I have bought a couple of different ones over the years. I have loved my Hootoo tripmate which recently failed due to battery failing. This is a lot like it since it was made by the same company. The mobile interface has a new look to it, but the web interface looks like the Hootoo interface. Powering on the device is simple and connecting to the wifi for the device is also easy with a simple password of 8 1s. I like the option of 5G, I haven't really noticed a difference between the 2.4 and the 5 G connections. The battery life is to leave the stream available and power other devices. I have tried using multiple media formats with this and it will play .mkv,.avi,.mp4,.m4v,.mp3. You can stream up to 5 devices at a time and when I tested it, it lasted about 6 1/2 hours. There are a couple of options you can do directly from the main screen like view photos, play movies and music, you can backup contacts and photos also. There were a couple of things you can do with IOS you can't with Android, on the main screen the only difference is you have access to the camera on IOS and you don't on Android. The other difference is on IOS, you can move and copy files from the sd card to your IOS device, but with Android, you don't have access to copy to the Android device, but you copy files from your Android device to the storage connected to the Ravpower. You can do a manual copy and on both IOS and Android there is a button to backup your photos. When playing movies there are options you have on Android you don't have on IOS, you can play choose subtitles if there is a .srt file with the same name as the movie, but IOS doesn't support that. Also, with android, you can select your audio stream if you have multiple streams on your movie. Both IOS and Android, you can cast your movies to any device that supports DLNA. When you enable DLNA in the system service settings, then the Videos, Photos, and Music apps on the main screen will show those types of files on the device. There are a couple of settings you can access from the app like Wifi settings and other network settings, and you can see the remaining battery on the homepage, however, all of the system settings such DLNA, and Samba services can only be accessed by using the 10.10.10.254 ip after connecting. The web interface also shows you can access all of the USB and SD card files with a laptop or any device with a browser. This is a very versatile device, and last of all, if you plug in a phone or tablet to this, you can use this as a battery and charge it.
