This TimberTunes 17-key Kalima Thumb Piano is a great product! It is nicely made out of Mahogany wood, which gives it a nice feel to the touch. The portable size is perfect for taking it anywhere. I like the secure packaging, the smooth wood material and the beautiful sound it creates. It’s great that it includes a music guide to follow with letters. Its a great buy for me, as a mom, to start introducing music to my children in a fun way. i recommend to make version for a bigger size; it would be nice for adults to use too! It’s relaxing to use.

Truly lovely, meditative sound

Truly lovely sound. I play a few instruments but am new to the thumb piano. While I'm just learning the basics and exploring how to play, it's already become one of my favorite things to do before bed. Meditative. The cat seems to love the sound too ~ she comes running to listen.

I love that this one is engraved with the notes. Very nice quality and comfortable to hold. The instructions explain how to read the song tabs. My 7 and 9 year old are interested and able to learn. Don't hesitate to purchase. PS The mallett is used for tuning, not playing the kalimba. The directions explain how.

The Best Musical Instrument and Toy for my children

I was looking for something to purchase for my girls to play with that they would be challenged and interested in and I found it right here, this Timbertunes Kalimba Thumb Piano is the best! My daughters have not stopped playing with it and are taking the time to learn how to use it. The booklet that is included is very helpful and teaches how to use the piano and includes a few bonus songs. The sounds are just perfect on the Kalimba. I will never get tired of my children playing because the sounds are soothing. The thumb piano itself is great quality! It includes a tuning tool, cleaning cloth, and a user's booklet. What a great way for our children and adults to use their thumbs besides video games or texting on their phones.

I bought this Kalimba thumb piano as a gift for my son. He is so hard to buy for but he likes music so when I came across this cool thumb piano I had to get it.
