It's super easy to install
As my house settles, the space under the front door has gotten quite drafty. I got this to keep those winds outside where they belong. It's super easy to install, sticks like mad to the door and does what it's supposed to. Looks nice and neat too.

Strong and great value
I waited a week before writing a review, this item is strong and holds perfectly on my door. Installation took less than 5 minutes. I peeled back the sticker and put it on my door flush with the floor. I have a heavy apartment fireproof door that used to slam shut, with the weather stripping flush on the floor it does not swing like it used to. It has blocked some of the noise and light coming from the hallway but not all. Still a great product for the price and a great idea if you are renting and dont want to invest too much money for small upgrades.

Easy to install & helps block the light from the hallway. I live in an apartment building and I'm positive this is helping keep bugs out as well.

Did its job and installation was easy
I bought this weather stripper mostly to block some sound coming in and out of my room. It wont do the same job as soundproofing walls, but in terms of keeping drafts from coming in, it looks like it would do a good job. Application was very simple. It is super sticky and sturdily stays in place where you place it. However it allows you to pull it off if you need to readjust when applying. Simple enough to cut using scissors if you need to resize. Will buy again if needed in future.

As advertised
I bought this for my bathroom door which has about a 2" inch gap at the bottom of the door when it's fully closed, and about a 1.5" when it's open. You can see my bathroom door from the living room couch and it's kind of invading their privacy when people are using the bathroom and you can see their feet as they sit on the toilet though you're sitting and watching TV! It does cut down on noise; I had a fan on outside the bathroom and upon installing the first strip on the inner side of the door, the fan noise sounded like I turned the fan from level 2 to level 1. I did use that primer wipe that they include, which smells and acts like turpentine, but after using it on the first strip I installed and having to re-position the strip due to the unevenness of the floor, I saw that the paint will come off if you take that strip off...I know there are several layers of paint on my bathroom door and I saw bare wood! So when I installed the strip on the outer side of the door I didn't use the primer and it's easier to maneuver if you need to re-position and we've opened & closed the door countless dozens of times in the last 4 or 5 days and the strip shows no sign of coming off even with scraping the floor a little (but when I had to re-position it, at least I didn't see the paint come off with it and bare wood!). Measuring and cutting to size is very easy (note that if installing on the outer part of a door, close the door fully and measure to that width NOT with the door open because your strip will be too long and your door probably won't close); installation is very easy, however I live in a building built in 1949 and with the floors "settling" over time, they aren't even; for example, with my bathroom door open, the bottom gap is about 1.5" but when closed it's almost 2" and there's a thicker wooden doorplate at eh bottom of my door also. This is why I installed strips on the inner and outer sides of the door and why my strips aren't completely straight but it's not noticeable, I just know because I installed them. Overall I would recommend these, they do reduce sound and smell escaping, they are a thick silicone, durable and I know they would be even better if my floor was even.

Self Adhesive Under Door Silicone Sweep does an excellent job of blocking the space under the door.
The door sweep was easy to cut to length, with scissors. What I didn't like, was the difficulty of getting the paper off of the adhesive. So, many times I would attempt to grab the paper to tear it with the adhesive, yet the adhesive would come with the tape and I had to stop. I tried using a thin metal edge to pry between the two. After an hour, I finally managed to separate the paper from the adhesive. The rest was a breeze.

Five-minute fix for cold drafts
I wanted to do two things with this product. One, I was tired of putting rolled up rugs by the outside door and the coat closet door in my condo. Apparently, the closet has little to no insulation and cold air seeps into the front room. Two, hall noise from neighbors and elevator drive my puppy crazy. I was hoping that this would help reduce some of those noises. For the first purpose, it was a great purchase. Does the trick and super easy to install. Much more aesthetically pleasing than rolled up rugs. In addition, it is affixed to the doors so there isn't any bending or stooping to replace rugs. For the second purpose -- not so much. Puppies ears and noses aren't fooled by silicone weather stripping.
