Absolutely awesome！

If you are looking for a clear sounding affordable condenser mic, this is a great one. A few days after receiving it, I used it to record lead vocals, and it was amazing how it picks up sound clearly. It is easily comparable to mics I have only had access to in professional studios. The pop filter can keep the diaphragm dry, thus protecting your mic. When you are talking into the mic, a certain amount of moister comes out of your mouth. Microphone stand not only does it provide my mic the perfect location to pick up my voice, but it makes my setup look that much more professional. The shock mount keeps the mic from picking up sound caused by vibrations emanating from the mic stand. Try it, you will be very pleased with the results!!

Amazing Deal for the Money!

This microphone kit is so good for the money! I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality coming from this microphone! The build quality is actually a lot better than you might think. I figured it would be a lot of plastic, but to my surprise it was metal! It has a pretty study build in both the articulating arm and the microphone itself. The pop-filter is also great and works as it should! Even the shock mount for the microphone is really nice! The overall feel and sense of quality is very pleasing to me. The microphone sounds really good! I was surprised at the quality coming from it. If you are looking to do voiceovers, podcasts, skype, gaming, etc., this microphone kit is especially good for that! It sounds great. It is crisp, clear, and rich. The only issue that I found, and this is coming from a musician and recording artist, is that the microphone does not have on-board gain control. So, for singing, you may have to mess around with it a bit to get your levels right. Being a USB-type connection, I could not plug this into my mixer to get better control over the levels. I had to plug it in and use distance from the microphone to control the levels. Other than that one drawback, this microphone kit is a STEAL for the money. If you're starting out in making any kind of media that requires decent audio quality, this microphone kit is an amazing deal for about fifty dollars!

very well made, fantastic value

I rarely write reviews but I found this product to be such good value and to have so exceeded my expectations that I felt the manufacturer deserves to be congratulated. I was looking for a replacement for a Snowball Blue and which I have found to be sort of ok but poorly designed, top heavy and the basic stand is virtually useless and cumbersome. The UHURU kit is a really well designed and affordable package. Everything is well constructed in metal to high tolerances and fits together with satisfying clicks. The articulated arm functions perfectly and keeps the mike where you put it (there are also thumb screws to hold it in position). I use it seated at a desk where you can put it in a perfect position to read a script, or it can be positioned up to 5'6" should you choose to stand. The shock mount is well constructed and has an elegant adjustment for fitting in the mike. And the mike? -- it's solidly made and surprisingly good with an excellent dynamic range. I have run a series of tests with the mike in different positions , distances input settings etc and have been surprised at the quality. I have used it for speech, laying down tracks directly into FCPX, and Garage Band and the results have been very satisfactory. I tested the pop filter and the wind cap and both function as designed. The value is outstanding -- I can't believe these guys can retail this for about 50 bucks. Amazing value. This review probably reads as though I'm an employee of the manufacturer -- but I'm not, just a satisfied customer who enjoys finding a bargain every so often.

Shipping was fast and free! Instructions come with it, but Very easy to put together without instructions. Everything you need to use the mic comes with the kit. Very crisp and professional sounding mic. I love it. Very sturdy and is NOT cheaply made which is great! I’m a youtuber so my video’s voiceovers have stepped up a lot with this. Super simple. Just plug the usb mic in and it works with your computer. No software needed.

Connectivity - The main choice of mic's connector is the traditional XLR or USB. When you grab an XLR microphone, you may need some extra power source from your computer since the item requires phantom power. While with this usb mic, you just need plug it in, and then can go. It is really simple and convenient. Additional accessories - Mic stands, shock mounts, windscreen, pop filter，all included. I do not need to buy them with other budget. CONS: This mic is a cardioid microphone, which picks up main from the front side. While some people may do not know this, then they may speak from the wrong sides. So i suggest the seller can describe this fully and clearly. CONCLUSION: Highly recommend this Mic to people who is looking for a product with high quality standard and a fair price.

Very impressive microphone

I was very surprised by this microphone. The pop filter was super high quality. The arm is a perfect length for my desk, the way it moves is actually soo nice and smooth. I can even spin it 360 degrees. I can also stand up and use it if I really wanted. The microphone quality was outstanding. There was absolutely no hissing in the background and the audio just sounded great! Highly Recommended!

Wow!

Fantastic microphone. The recording quality is phenomenal and my friends online immediately noticed how good it sounded. Two of them immediately went and bought it when I told them the price. Buy it. The only downside I would say is that the base of the arm that attaches to the desk can move even when tightened if so be gentle when changing angles. But overall, love it!
