Nice swim shirt

I ordered a size 10 which I knew would be a little big on him. He could have gone with an 8, he is in that inbetween stage. Figured he could use for 2 summers with the larger size. It is a loose fitting swim shirt. Matched well with the Janu Surf Boys swim trunks he got as well. We spend a lot of time in the pool/beach so time will tell how it holds up.

Fits perfect!

I bought this for my son for our first family trip to the beach. Being extremely fair skinned and living where the sun doesn't shine too much, we burn very easy. I knew that with the constant running in and out of water, reapplying sunscreen would be difficult enough. This fit him exactly as expected and was a nice comfortable material. When it was wet, it didn't stick to him, and dried quickly.

Will buy again

I make the kids wear Neon "high visibility" swim shirts when we go to the beach or any water acuities. Makes keeping an eye on 4 small children from the shore as one adult much easier. Each kid has an assigned color that we just get a new shirt in same color yearly...these are priced just right and the quality holds very well, if they kids didn't grow so much these shirts would last more then one season. We are beach goers almost daily- with extensive snorkeling and boating. My sons also wore these almost daily on a trip through Thailand under their life jackets (that I brought form home) on those long boats that like to tip over easy- kept them from chafing. The shirts have very minimal piling from the extensive use. Loose enough to get on/ off easy and dry super quick for travel. The kids love them.

Great for swimming!

We went to an indoor water park and wanted to be "modest" in our swimsuits. We bought these for our kids and ourselves. The neck came up on mine somewhat in the water but wasn't too bad. I bought mine a little big because I was wearing it over my swim top. Very comfortable and dries quickly. Nice for summer because of the SPF. This type of top must be getting popular because we saw several adults and kids wearing them.

Great shirt

This swim shirt fits perfectly. My son is almost 3 and still wears 2T clothes, but I ordered a 3T, intending for him to be able to wear it for the next year. He definitely will be able to. The color is vibrant and we have been in several chlorinated pools, washed, and dried it multiple times with no signs of wear. Some other swim shirts are too short and wide, but not this one. It’s cut like a regular shirt. Very happy! I’ll order another when he needs the next size.

Run small, but terrific otherwise

The quality of the shorts is terrific. I like the functioning drawstring waist. I ordered a size 14–16 for my son who usually wears a size 12. These are the perfect fit, so you might want to order a size up from what you normally buy.

Great item!

The only negative I have on that is that it's a bit on the big side. My little guy is just getting into size 5 shirts so I expected it to be a little big but, it's even bigger than I expected. Not unwearable and I decided to keep it because we were leaving do vacation at the beach and needed it. It's soft and comfortable and dried quickly! You know it's good when my little guy doesn't complain about it and wears it without an argument!!! It's big enough he should be able to wear it for at least a year!

like a t-shirt

The fit is loose, like a t-shirt. Material is very thin like an athletic shirt. He wore it to school once when there was a heat wave. Because of the versatility and the look of the T-shirt which is a plus, I'm giving it 5 stars. But as a swim shirt it's pretty much good/average and I paid too much for it but at the time the stores were all out of rash guards and he had a swim class. The price is lower now ($15) so I think it's a better deal. No regrets buying it - easy to wash and no worries about any design on it getting destroyed. Good looking shirt.

Great fit; comfortable rash guard

Great rash guard shirt for our 3 year old. This is cut in more of a tee shirt way, versus a super snug rash guard - which was more comfortable and easier for our kid to wear. Even with the tee shirt cut, it did not ride up in the water. It was great for the price and would buy again.

Great loose rashguard.

I like this rashguard. It washes well. It is on the looser side. I bought the 2t for my son who is in 2t sized clothing, but will soon be in 3t. He will be able to wear this all summer even if he goes up a size in normal clothing. The navy is a little on the lighter side for navy, by the way.
