this lens is AMAZING!! I LOVE it! Works for Motorola Z2 phone with the weird lens

I have a Motorola Z2 phone, which has an oversized round lens with 2 camera 'eyes' that are set pretty widely apart so it can 'triangulate'. It's a pretty darn good camera anyway that takes solid closeup shots, but for 'selfies', I really need to lug a selfie stick around everywhere, which is bulky and a pain. I was looking for something smaller, that would fit in my purse, but still give me a solid wide angle to capture the background of where I am. WOW! Does this fit the bill! The lens is BOTH a wide and macro closeup lens. The micro lens is what is attached to the clip already, you simply unscrew the larger outer macro lens, leaving the micro lens on the clip underneath for the super closeups. I watched the youtube video for it, which shows the best way to use it, and it's well worth searching for to give you more details (I watched it before I bought the lens to help me decide if I wanted it). When you clip to your camera (in my case, I just look for the 2 lenses through the large lens to make sure I have it positioned correctly on my phone), you have a 'wide angle'. Unscrew the wide angle part, leaving it clipped to your phone, and you have a macro lens for super tight details that can get in closer than your phone can normally focus. I'm attaching a few photos I took with the 2 lenses.... omg. The 2 shots of my dog on the bed are taken from exactly the same spot... that is, I didn't move either the camera or my body, he's almost always moving, especially when he sees a camera. All i did was shoot it with the lens, then unclip it and shot him without the lens. THAT is the macro lens. Incredible clarity and increased width. The white daisy is not at all a daisy, it's a Florida weed flower that is about 1/2" wide in diameter. My camera cannot get this clear a shot of it unaided. My dog's eye (shiba inu) closeup should put in perspective how macro it is as well. He's a medium sized/small dog and he doesn't have a big eye. At this angle, there's no getting this close, and as he doesn't pose easily, this focused in a millisecond. I am impressed. I am SOOOO impressed!!! The case and strap are just an over the top bonus. I have spent real money on old fashioned Leica lenses in the 'old days' when we lugged around large camera bags. While cell phone photography isn't going to give the same quality of photo, good grief, are we getting closer. THIS. JUST BUY THIS. You don't know it yet, but you need it.

Good Investment

This is my first time getting this type of gadgets and I am looking forward to use them for my upcoming trips. The video included was super helpful. I love the macro lens it allows you to take pictures super up close. I have s10e, and it works fine on the focus camera. I am still figuring out how to use the wide angle lens. The outside shots didn't seem to show too much of difference between the shots without the lens. However, the lenses are high quality. One thing I don't like is that inside material of the clip that goes onto the phone screen is not a soft material. if you don't have a screen protector, it may damage the surface when the clip contacts the screen. Wish there was a piece of suede or felt material inside the clip to soften the contact. overall it's a good product.

Great value!

So my biggest thing with finding a lens was needing it to be inexpensive but high quality. My husband and I are beginning a social media marketing business and needed this on top of our dslr for moments when we can’t use the heavy camera. Overall, very impressed with the quality! Especially after editing. We mostly have used the wide angle lens and we love it. The macro is basic and does the job; macro lenses are always great! The only thing we weren’t aware of when purchasing this was that the iPhone microphone for videos is right next to the camera, so when using this lens the mic is covered and the sound is very muffled. This was a bummer because half of what we do is videos, but also not a huge issue because we can purchase a mic or take the lens off for talking videos. Most of our videos don’t have sound anyway! Last thing. We couldn’t figure out how to use the led light for awhile and then realized the button for it was pushed all the way in. After watching the how-to video I see it’s not supposed to be like this. And we took a photo to show. Highly recommend this. The photo attached is using the macro lens.

Great alternative to a dedicated camera

This is a very high quality lens for use with your cell phone camera. I mainly made use of the macro lens, which made close up shots look fantastic. Also included is a clip-on LED light, which comes in very handy for those close up shots. I used this on a Samsung Galaxy S10, which already has fantastic photo quality. It even has a built-in zoom/macro kind of thing which works very well. But when combined with the AOMAIS macro lens, it's even better! It's a bit on the big side, but the quality of the photos is great

High quailty at a great price! My first go-to lens for mobile.

I can finally take a perfect selfie in any scenario with it's variety of lighting brightness! Getting this kit is my best choice to get quality photos on mobile instead of getting a new phone. It also comes with a sturdy lens protectors for easy carrying. Both Lens and lighting clips work great on my iphone 6. Strongly recommend!

Great quality and price!

Throughly impressed with the wide angle lens. As stated with the other, little / no edge blur with full coverage when taking pictures. There are no black edges. Solid metal body with some weight to it. Make sure to take off the plastic on the clip! Once you take the plastic off the clip backing, it adheres pretty sturdy to the phone. I'm able to shake and move it around without it moving or getting loose. Looks pretty similar in terms of packaging and product as the Xenvo which is more expensive. No regrets here!

It's about the macro lens

A picture is worth a thousand words, I'm enclosing a macro shot of my pen and the closest my phone could focus without the macro lens. Both shots taken with an iPhone X. The 18x macro is 2x more than other kits at this price point. The carrying case and add on light are a nice bonus.

It's great.

Very happy with this product. The picture is very clear and bright without the distortion that affects cheaper lenses. Clips on perfectly to my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that I use with a gimbal for creating YouTube content in 4k UHD at 30 fps. The macro shots using this lens are stunning and makes for a great picture to insert into the video. The wide angle lens helps add a little depth...and width of field to the smartphone video which has a tendency to be pretty limited on it's own. Did deduct one star for the rear lens cap being a bit fiddly when trying to screw it onto the lens. The cap will cross-thread easily and it usually takes a few tries to get it right.

Great Value & Easy to Use

Phone: Pixel 2 XL. One star for good packaging and product that matches thorough description. Second star for quality of materials (i.e., lens, casing, etc.) because the lens appears to be well constructed and durable yet not too heavy. Third star for ease of use and quick initial setup. I thought the USB drive directing you quickly to the instructional video was creative. Fourth star for the macro lens which appeared to significantly enhance the Pixel's already great close range photos. Fifth star for the additional range from using the wide lens. For ~$25 I felt that this product was overall a good value and well made. A couple downsides were that the wide lens did have some blurriness in the corners, as well as a slight loss of picture detail quality when compared to the camera alone (only noticeable when zooming in). Finally, and this is neutral, the clip fit over the case well but was prone to move with a slight touch. When I removed the case the clip fit perfectly. When comparing photos between case on vs. case off, I was unable to tell a difference. Would purchase again.
