Awesome product. Takes the headache out of the new MacBook Pro's hardware incompatibility. Turns two USB-C ports into 7 multi-purpose ports. Much lower-profile and higher-capacity than the Apple converters. And much better priced as well. Only improvement opportunity would be having the Thunderbolt port be a Thunderbolt 2 (i.e., avoiding the need for a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter). Comes in two finishes to match your MacBook. Recommended for our office, and we bought numerous to give to employees. Count me as a 10 for NPS.

The built on this small little wonder is amaZing. It matches my space grey macbook pro and it looked like it was made by apple. Had initial problem with the product but it was promptly resolved. Gery great costumer service and they deliver what is promised. Will definitely refer it to others

Works like a champ! 2 Connected at Once!

I purchased two of these trying to look for alternatives to an expensive docking station. I also have the 2018 MBP 15 with Vega 20 graphics so compatibility with the new MBP model is critical. These looked simple enough and seemed to have quality connection and ease of use according to other reviews. I was not disappointed! I snapped these babies in, plugged everything in that I needed and boom! Everything works great. I have a 1TB SSD external, 2-4K LG monitors, Scarlet 6i6 audio interface, USB type Microsoft mouse, and micro USB cable (for charing) all connected with plenty of ports to spare. The connections of the two USB-C plugs on each snap in snug and remain connected well. The color also matches pretty well with the space gray MBP color and I love the rounded edges to give a more polished look. If you're looking for more ports or just a possible dock alternative, I recommend this item 100%.

Best usb c hub for macbook pro 2018

Works pretty well! When plugging it into Macbook pro 2018, you need to push it in harder in final 1mm of connection, then you will feel a snap on. It fits flush with the laptop and looks like a natural extension of the computer.

Works perfect on my MacBook Air 18!!!

First of all, I really like the design. The color is almost identical to MacBookAir18Silver, and its cordless compact design makes it look organized. The coolest part is that you can use USB-A ports (Apple ONLY includes the USB-A cable with their devices) and HDMI port in one adapter. Rest of the features like SD Card Reader and Data Only USB-C Port can be helpful, but I don't necessarily need them. I have a Samsung 32" 1080p TV and so far it shows satisfying performance and resolution connected with HDMI cable. I enjoy using this feature whenever I come back home. Definitely, a must-have item if you are using a new version of MacBooks which only supports Thunderbolt3 ports and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Great for traveling, no wires, looks good w/ a quality build.

Living that "dongle-life" is hard. No one wants to carry around a bunch of connecting pieces to make their expensive laptop function the way it was (in theory) intended to. The great thing about this piece is that it allows for multiple connection points, matches the color of your laptop, and has a high quality finish. No wires or hassle... just pure functionality. As a professional event production company, we push out laptops to the max. This has really made our lives easier. I purchased two of them because I like them so much!

Works well ... buy a cover that works with it or prepare to trim

Works as intended, silver one was ordered matches Macbook colors. Note in picture (red arrow) if you have a cover for your Macbook the sides of the cover may need trimming, hopefully purgo make covers that go with their products next - save buying things separately.

This little beauty is a great find!

This little adapter is a great find! I recently purchased a new gold Mac Book Air laptop and needed to find an adapter that would give me access to power, ports and plug-ins. I hoped to find one that matched the new gold color Apple is using. AND I FOUND THIS BEAUTY! This dongle is slim fitting and if I want, can actually stay connected and still fit in my computer carrying case. I have one computer setup for home and another for work, so this adapter needs to be able to travel well..and it does that with no problem. It has all the access points that I need including HDMI and enough ports, power of course, and so much more. And I like that I can flip it around to extend out the back, if I need it. It is compact and doesn’t have all the extra cables like some of the other adapters I looked at and returned. Last, but not least in my book...this Purgo USB C Hub Adapter Dongle is beautiful and matches the color of my Mac Book Air perfectly! I’m so glad to have found this adapter and would recommend it to anyone looking for the same.

For MacBook Pro, 4K hdmi, silver match silver color

Color Silver match with my new MacBook Pro 2018. Work great with my 4K. I write this review to help who ever own the new MacBook Pro 2018 get the right item that they need.

Works as expected and does a GREAT job.

Works great with my MacBook Pro 2018. I can use it on either side, flipping it upside down on the right and of course regular on the left. Fits snug with just the right amount of tension on the USB 3 sockets to keep it in place but not too much to take it off. Essential with the Mac, IMO. Worth every bit of the money! And that is after using it for a few weeks now to make sure there were/are no glitches.
