Great Gloves for the Smoker, the Grill and Cast Iron Dutch Oven
These gloves work very well for protecting your hands and forearms from heat while allowing a good grip on both food and utensils. The rubber material is "sticky" (like silicone rubber) so you don’t have to worry about items slipping from your grip. They are totally water proof. I have yet to feel any uncomfortable level of heat while wearing them. I clean them by putting them on and washing them as I would my hands, but under hot water and using dish washing detergent. Then rinse thoroughly and hang on a hook to dry. So far, I have used them to grill and shuck sweet corn. I look forward to using them for my pulled pork recipe. Soon. I am adding some additional information about the heat handling ability of these gloves. I bake sourdough bread in a cast iron Dutch oven. I heat the Dutch oven to 500° and remove it from the oven to add the bread dough. This requires a fair amount of handling of the two parts of the Dutch oven. It has been a difficult task to do this with double hot pads and they would get very hot. I decided to try using these gloves. I was very careful because i wasn’t sure how they would perform with those temperatures. The were great! No heat felt while handling the very hot cast iron nor in sliding the oven racks out and back in the oven. Also, no worries about inadvertently touching the cast iron with exposed wrists or forearms. Very happy with this aspect of these gloves.

Great heat resistance for just enough time
I deep fried a turkey this year and got these to help me manipulate said bird during the cooking. It does very well--I was able to put my hands into the boiling oil and turn the bird or whatever and did just fine. But watch out--if you take too long, the head DOES start coming through and even when you take you hands out of the oil, the temp INSIDE the gloves continues to rise for several seconds before they start cooling again. Washing the gloves was a bit of a challenge as the oil seemed to like the gloves and didn't really want to wash off, so I had to do multiple passes, but it eventually came off. If you are going to stick your hands into hot oil, I think this is going to be your best bet. If you can NOT stick your hands in the oil in the first place, that may be better...

Great pair of BBQ gloves
I own a pair of heavy suede heat resistant gloves that I've used for the fireplace and the smoker, however after one too many drips of sauce, juices, etc. soiling the gloves, I opted for these dedicated BBQ gloves. They are very good at the heat resistance, but they will heat up and you will burn yourself if you hold on too long or pick up something VERY hot like your pizza stone. The fingers are well rounded and allow me to get a good grip on things, which can be somewhat awkward with my other gloves. The crowning piece is the rubberized exterior coating. Not only does it enhance grip, it means you can wash the gloves. Just squirt on some soap and wash your hands! This makes cleanup a breeze when using the bear claws on pulled pork where the juices or hot meat would ruin other gloves.

Best I have used yet.
The gloves are made from kevlar and cotton, with a textured, FDA compliant neoprene coating to supply a non-slip grip. The five-fingered gloves have an extended cuff to provide protection to the wrist and forearm. They are heat resistant up to 932 degrees. The difference between heat resistant gloves and these insulated cooking gloves is apparent as soon as you use them. You don’t feel the heat at all, and I was able to very confidently handle the hottest metal grill equipment and pans. Despite the insulation, they fit very well and feel comfortable, while only minimally affecting your dexterity. This means you can do more precise tasks like operating the grill controls and turning small food items without having to take them off. The non-slip surface is very good, even when handling the greasiest of items. The extra-length cuffs are also a nice feature, adding protection to the wrists and a good amount of the lower arms.

Pit Masters: Are you ready to grill?
I bought these to replace some old leather gloves I had been using for years. Unfortunately, I lost the right hand glove awhile back and the left hand had a hole in the tip of the middle finger. As you can imagine, that made grilling and smoking tasty morsels of meat rather difficult at times. I finally burned the tip of my middle finger enough times and cinged the hair off my other hand and arm enough times that I bit the bullet and bought these gloves as replacements. Gosh, why didn't I do this sooner? The gloves are thick, easy to clean and go 3/4 of the way up my forearms for added protection. Since purchasing these gloves and using them, I have not burned myself anymore and am able to grill with confidence, knowing I'm protected. I'm able to grip tongs and spatulas easily and able to tend to my smoker or grill with ease. I have no complaints with these gloves and definitely recommend them for use.

Phenomenal!
I am shocked! Truly shocked! It is not difficult to make high heat and liquid resistant gloves. But I had doubts that they would be so cheap on Amazon. I am simply blown away for the price. Sure it smells a bit, and it's somewhat large, and quite stiff. But for what it does, I can easily look past minor flaws.

Comfortable to wear
We decided to fry a turkey for the first time and these gloves certainly helped to provide some peace of mind. I was a little nervous frying a turkey, because of all of the "turkey fryer gone wrong" videos online, but we did it safely and successfully. The gloves were an important part of staying safe and they were very comfortable to wear. I didn't realize that the gloves would be lined with a soft material on the inside, since I expected these to be more like gardening gloves (all rubber), so this was a pleasant surprise. They worked well and I'm glad that we had them on-hand (pun intended) for the turkey on Christmas day. Be safe with your grilling!!

VERY SWEET
Sweet gloves, I can pull a dutch oven outta the oven and hold for as long as needed, harldy gets ward. The minute I got them, I fired up the creme brulee torch and held for 15-20 seconds....nuthin.....didnt wanna chance wrecking them going longer but bet they'd handle it. I could feel warmth but no pain. I'd be willing to bet you could move logs around in the fireplace without issue. A bit industrial looking, taint nuttin to look at, but they get the job done....10/10 rated

Great Buy!
Inexpensive glove that blocks heat of chargrill, flat top and fryers. Have also used with a very caustic carbon remover and they held up great. I usually pay more for one single glove from a different supplier than this pair and they look identical. Highly recommend. We use these in a full service restaurant kitchen. Photo after several months of use, just after cleaning out hot fryers.

So Far they Work Great !! I Am probably the only person who bought them for the purpose of pumping septic tanks. I wanted something that I could use over and over again rather then rubber gloves that brake and get my hands all nasty. Won't Be using these on my BBQ.lol They have held up pretty great! I will need to get some more for other drivers soon.
