I personally use my computer to draw digitally, and had some hopes that this adaptor would be perfect working with my drawing tablet's cable. And sure enough, it did just that. It also worked on my external disc reader when putting CD's onto my computer, and of course playing DVDs too. Anything else like putting a flash drive in and charging my phone worked smoothly as well. Definitely recommend this adaptor and it's price. 5/5

As good as Apple OEM

This dongle works well and fits compactly in MacBook Pro. This does work with Apple SuperDrive.

HV-CAM adapter works!

Adapted Video microscope to connect directly to USB-C port on Galaxy 8 & 9 cell phones. HV-CAM Application works fine. Flex cable between connectors minimized stain on phone port.

Flexible & minimalist design

I really like this. It's flexible, compatible with my 3.0 thumb drives, and is minimalist enough to fit two, side-by-side, into the two usb-c ports on my 2017 MacBook Pro. BTW: I like it much better than the Insignia dongle bought earlier (reviewed on Amazon as well).

These are great

After getting a new laptop with only USB-C ports and owning a lot of USB accessories, these are incredibly handy. And they are so small. I purchased several so I could just keep them attached to the external hard drives, numeric key pad etc. that I use most often. Every one I've bought has worked flawlessly and fits tightly but not too tightly to both the USB end and to the USB-C port on my laptop.
