Great garden gloves - They breathe easily on the back side and my hands don't get sweaty until I've been using them for an hour or so. I have done a variety of tasks with these and they seem to be holding up pretty well. After 3 weeks of use (one or two days a week) the rubber part is holding up pretty well. I see a little wear (flaking) of the rubber part. I have a few threads that have come loose in the palm area, probably got caught on something thorny. The gloves will probably last 2-3 months of gardening use. I wouldn't expect much more than that. Great pair for the price though.

The gloves are GREAT!! I would buy again and strongly recommend them. They fit good and don’t make my hands sweet and the material on the top side of the glove is great for wiping my face. I don’t get dirt under my nails and I have what is called black jack mud. The gloves wash off good with water and they are ready to use the next day. I have over an acre of land and love to do gardening such as growing corn, okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, blueberry, eggplant, bell pepper, etc..

We are experiencing El Nino - almost non-stop rain, I used them once to move very wet fire wood to a dryer place. They worked great grabbing and holding wet, slippery logs. The grip held and I am very pleased.

This is the second order of these gloves. I love the way they fit, not cumbersome like some gloves are. They also do not make your hands hot and sweaty. I keep one pair with my pool equipment for when I have to clean the filters. The holder for the filter is made of fiberglass. (you do not want to touch it unless you want to itch for days). I keep two pairs in my gardening bucket, hey, you never know. The last pair I keep in the garage for whatever job I might need them for. The quality is great and the price is even better.

I originally purchased the gloves with yard cleaning, ie: raking and bagging leaves, etc. in mind, but actually used them first to trim my yard... In any event, I *love*' the gloves! In my mind they may be a little too fashionable for yard work. The fit is so comfortable and soft, too! ' Thanks for a great product, considerably more than I expected! Most definitely would make this purchase again!

I received my gloves today and must say that I am most pleased with my purchase. I had started to prune my sago palm last week without gloves and I'm still pulling at a small thorn in my finger. I made quick about putting the gloves on and finished up with the pruning, picking up the branches and tossing them into the rubbish. Here are the things I like about them. The hands and fingers are nicely protected against pricks from thorns. The fabric is nice and stretchy, while not being so thin as to get snagged. The fingers and palms can easily grip pruners, wood, metal and plastic surfaces. The fabric is very breathable, being summer in Florida that is an added bonus. My wrist is 7.5" and they were not baggy at the wrist, but also were not tight. The fit around fingers and palm were not tight either which is nice. I probably could have gone for a smaller size but I'm quite pleased with my purchase, I will keep them. The package included 2 pairs of gloves. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I've washed them and left them out to dry and they are still like new. I have been replacing the incandescent lightbulbs around the house and had one that was being stubborn. My fingers just couldn't get a grip on the glass of a kitchen floodlight overhead. I remembered the gloves had the coating on the fingers which helped a person grip things so I put them on, I was able to get the light out of the socket with zero difficulty. I was thrilled. These are fast becoming my go to household gloves. For anyone who is replacing their lightbulbs I highly recommend these gloves as a tool. The incandescents are so smooth and are easily dropped which sends tiny shards everywhere.

I am a novice gardener, but I have quite alot of landscaping to maintain. These gloves are wonderful because they cover my wrists and FitBit - so I can get credit for the workout I get doing the yardwork! I have a few thorny plants and these provide protection from scratches - but not punctures. I find them to be just enough protection, without being bulky. They give you a good grip, are easy to clean, and fit very well. I will buy these again when I need to replace mine.

I ordered this set of gloves on a lark and have been totally impressed with the quality. I might get around to using them in the garden but I have found these to be a terrific and inexpensive way to protect my hands while out on my kayak! The rubbery grip is perfect and the breathability of the glove makes them perfect for the task! No blisters! They are also easy to get on and off when wet and have not stretched out like others I have used. Someday when I use them in the garden ~ I will update the review BUT I foresee no issues with the quality of the gloves on land!

Although my gardening is now limited primarily to maintaining herb gardens, I put the gloves through their paces throughout the season, beginning with planting the new herbs at the start of the season. I love that the gloves are moisture-resistant: I can work in moist soil for hours and they won't get soaked. The best part of the gloves is the palm, which has that coating that is perfect for grabbing hold of a stubborn weed and pulling it out without the need for a tool. I also love the tight wrist: fewer bugs and less soil can find their way down there. I haven't done roses for years, so I can't comment on their bulletproofness for true thorns, but I have handled eggplants, which can get pretty darn prickly. Finally, I have a small-to-medium woman's hand, the Medium fits me perfectly, with just about 1/4 inch left in the fingertips. Although they're stretchy, anyone with a much larger hand would definitely want the Large.

I originally ordered for my daughter to have for her school gardening club. She had the cloth (cheap) kind last year and complained about stuff poking through so these seemed like they might work better. They're a little big for her hands (she's a kid though) but she likes them. Since there were 2 pair I decided to try them (I have rose gloves I sometimes use but tend to prefer to be gloveless & feel the soil) and I LOVE them too! I can still feel the soil, pick things up, etc. but my hands are clean so bonus! Definitely recommend!
