Makes cutting up watermelon a quick job

I used this cutter on the watermelon I had bought the day before. It worked great, though I think it will be easier to start off, if you start with a half a watermelon like they recommend. I had a quarter piece so I had to start with the pointed part of the watermelon. It was definitely faster to use this tool rather than to cut the melon with a knife. One reviewer warned that it didn't cut the melon into chunks but into slices. I like the size of the chunks/slices cut by this tool. It makes it easier to eat and creates more pieces. Washing it was a snap and this particular product came with two additional tools. It was easy to use and cleaning was a snap.

A must have in summer

The watermelon slicer works like a charm. We used to buy small size watermelon due to fewer family members. Even though knowing that bigger one is sweeter averagly. After purchasing the slicer, there is always big one in the fridge. All you need to do is chop the watermelon into half and chop either 1/5 front or end part of this half. Using the slicer, and enjoy the watermelons in the hot summer. Even my little kid can help on preparing the watermelons with the slicer. What a convenient tool!
