It was just a guess when I placed my order, but it works great! I am using it to make shields for frontline workers. I covered it with medical tape in case the foam reacts with someone's skin. Feedback has been really positive, and I've received requests for more. I have enough for now but will order more when I come close to running out.

Used it inside a pelican case for my laptop. Put foam tape around the edges for a nice clean consistent width of foam protection. The secret is in the application. Pull back the paper covering the adhesive. Start in the middle of a straight run not a corner then holding the paper tape line up the foam where you want it and continue pulling the paper back exposing the adhesive. Since the foam is where you want it no fighting placement, and taking the paper off exposes the adhesive. Done Remember to allow for the bending into the corners, it's foam so it will want to be difficult, remember it will want to expand, so go a little long into the corner and hedge some for the exit also. Take your time, you will figure it out.

I used these strips to soundproof my door. It was easy to cut with some not even very sharp scissors and was easy to peel the paper off of and apply. Very sticky adhesive. Got stuck to my fingers like crazy. But it stuck onto the door very very well. As for how well it’s been keeping out sound, it helps to muffle things like conversations, clattering of dishes, dogs barking, etc. Lower frequency noises or sounds from right outside the door are still going to come through in any case. So for high pitched noises, it does the job fairly well. Don’t expect it to keep sounds out 100%. Think more in terms of muffling or lowering the volume of those annoying sounds. The door also shuts a lot firmer/tighter now. The hardest part was getting it onto the underside of the door. I had to double layer the tape because the gap under there is a bit wider than the gaps between the door and the frame. Still the tape doesn’t quite reach the carpet under there but that’s a good thing because it would prevent the door from shutting easily if it touched the ground.

I moved into a place in which the inside doors don't make a proper seal. I put this tape on the inside of the door jamb along with a sweep on the bottom of the door and it makes a huge difference as far as sound insulation.

Could not use caulk and this product fit perfectly in narrow space that needed insulated/sealed. Closed cell/small cell foam is so much better than the open cell foam. open cell tears easily and does not insulated as well. Closed cell/small cell thick and easy to wedge in crevice. Because it is closed cell/small cell foam it expands back to fill space.

I used this to replace the worn out, weathered, weatherstripping on my 30 year old 1989 FLHTCU bagger saddlebag lids. I even had a bit left over for another project. Thanks a bunch for a useful product!

What's better than I thought it was going to be but measurements match up so it's my bad overall it's nice stuff when using it inside of a case with a battery sticks to the wall real good definitely would buy again if I needed more good value for Price nice and dents it's not like that loose foamy stuff this is you know thick tough dense just what I needed

Fabulous. From someone who used duct tape Religiously after installing AC window units. These self adhesive strips made putting the AC in a lot easier. And you are given enough length to conquer the job. These foam strips can be cut to size. The regular foam I’d use Would have to be wedged into spaces and then taped. Or it moves when you adjust the Unit in the window. Plus my duct tape doesn’t always hold. But the sticky parts on these hard foam strips is very secure. It stayed in place during the adjustments and helped me fill any holes I could see around the unit. Plus the foam doesn’t hold water when wet. Very very pleased with this foam.

I added this to the top and bottom edges on both sides of my AC unit's media filter. It was not a very tight fit before, but I could see air was escaping and going around the filter instead of through the filter. This fixed that problem in under 10 minutes and now it is a nice and tight fit. Should have done this 5 years ago when I added the media filter to the duct....better late than never. Hopefully when I get my AC serviced next year, it won't even be dirty!! The 1/8" thickness was just enough added to both sides

High quality; strong adhesive. I used this to block a draft coming in from my son's bedroom window because the window doesn't close all the way on one corner. I was very impressed with the quality of the seal and immediately drove over to my parents to go seal up some of their stuff. They liked it so much, they asked if they could take a roll into their office too!
