Great product
These really work, just make sure that there is air flowing through the tube before using, some are plugged. Note: the merchant was prompt with a replacement (a whole box).

It's worth it! Great product.
Working great so far! It's been keepingmy plants hydrated for 1month now. Things to keep in mind: make sure the ceramic spikes are full of water as well as the water source in the jar. When I first got the product, I pre-soaked the spikes in water for 1hr. Keep the plant above the water source that way the plant will draw water through capillary action. If you have the plant at the same level or below the water source then you will flood the plant (due to gravity).

Best way to water urban jungle
I am so happy with these watering spikes! I have what you might call a small urban jungle. I was looking for a way to save time watering and save my furniture from spills and my back from having to lift heavy pots to move them to my shower so excess water could safely drain. I subscribe to a YouTube channel done by an amazing woman, Summer Rayne, called Plant One On Me and she suggested this kind of watering system. I ordered the tubes and set them up in all my problem pots. I used canning jars with the lid replaced with saran wrap, to keep bugs out and decrease evaporation, and made a hole in saran wrap to put the tubing through and also to top off water when getting low using a narrow spout watering can. No more spills! Just be sure to follow directions. There are no directions in box but just scroll through product pictures until you get to the directions, also they are in the product text. I didn’t see this in directions but it is very important that to avoid flooding the pot or furniture, keep the water level below the tip of the ceramic spike, so you won’t siphon too much water from the reservoir. This happened to me as the bottom of the spike in the soil was slightly lower than my reservoir and water started draining into the saucer so I just lowered my reservoir a bit. You can also add a very diluted liquid fertilizer to reservoir, just a few drops, for continuous feeding. I think they are doing a better job of watering than I could. My water meter show moist soil, not too dry or too wet. Customer service is also awesome. If you have any questions or problems email them. They will promptly get back to you amazingly fast. I was so happy with the service I will order more from them.

I have trusted these for my plants for years :)
These work very well!. Before using : Water your plants as the soil must be wet to begin with. Then, soak the spikes and tubings in a container of water for a few hours. To get them ready , hold the spikes immersed so they are filled with h20 and put the caps on under water in order to avoid air bubbles inside. The rest is straight forward...

The dripping devices did a great job!
Our family is planning for a 3 weeks trip, and we have lot of in-door plants. I placed an order and the seller shipped the package very quick. I firstly tested two of eight which are working fine, one dripping faster and another one slower compared to the other. Now i am testing the other six to see how much water it needs and will the plants will satisfied. It is easy to use just follow the instruction which come with the package. As same as the instruction mentioned, the water may drip faster if the other end which inserts into soil is lower than the water bottle/jar. I recommend to order the item at least 4 days before your trip to test the product and the test will come out a best result for the in-door plants.

Great buy
Upon removing packaging, I soaked the stakes, gently unwound and pulled the tubes straight, I rinsed them out, sucked water through them to check there were no holes/blockages and then I put them in old clean milk cartons, cutting off a small corner of the lid big enough to allow for the tubes to pass through but not big so as to let insects get in. The tubes straightened out with their own weight over the next couple of days so I didn’t need to find and weight with stones as others did. You need to fill up the plastic container on top of the ceramic stake with water. Others note there is no hole in the stake - this is because the water passes through porous ceramic material. I wanted to see if overwatering the plants would help, but this reversed the process, causing water to drain back into the milk cartons and then leak on to my floorboards. So no need to overwater, just make sure the soil is moist. Don’t put the water container above the plant, it will also flood the plant. Mulching did really help. I didn’t have time to buy wood chips before I left so I got some dried out leaves and cut them up and covered the soil. On my plants with wetter and heavier soils these worked really well, watering them up to two weeks from the milk containers, the plastic containers on the stakes remaining full of water the whole time. On those with lighter soils they did not so well, the water seemed to evaporate from the soil too quickly and the container on the stake was empty within a day. I tested for two weeks before I went on holiday for two weeks. I was glad to see when I came back from my trip after 15 days that all but one looked good. The one that didn’t, had several yellow leaves but didn’t die. For the price, they are great too. Happy that my plants are alive after 15 days away. I would definitely recommend.

i loved these i did my research before purchasing i was not sure if it would work but they do. I tested them out and there is a way i have a hanging plant from the top of my window and she was to reach so i used a plastic bottle and hung it beside my planter and my plant is in love wih it. So far it has been working ive had them for about 4 weeks now and its good so far. For those trying to figure out about how much to water so they dont over water this is agreat solution honestly. I did read that after a few months of usage to check on the tubes and make sure they didnt get any erosion or anything like that which i will. This has saved me from pulling my hair in the watering department i do recommend it.

I finally found it out!
I have been testing a system to water my plans when I am out. This one turned out to be the one!, Cheap, and simple. I added only an extra weight (fishing weights) and the end of the little tubes, so they stick to the bottom of the water container, so I am sure they don't float or rollback. Other than that, this is perfect. I have bought first one of 8, then another of 10 and finally, I added one of 16 yesterday!, I love it!.

It really works!!!
I ordered the little cone watering systems and like most people say, there are NO instructions in the package, just online where we order from. I soaked the cone with the lid off for several hours to ensure the porous white terra cotta type material was thoroughly primed. There is no hole in the cone to drip water, the water will soak through the white material. I wanted to test the item before I actually go on vacation so I used a bowl of baking flour so I would be able to tell if the water was actually pulling in and making the flour wet. I set it up as instructed and the next morning the water level that I marked was down a few millimeters and the flour is definitely wet. I feel confident I can leave on vacation and come home to plants that have been watered and thriving. Very easy to use and anyone saying they do not work definitely did not soak the cones long enough or follow the instructions!

Happy plants!
Once you get the hang of it, these are wonderful. I bought two packs to set up my indoor jungle before we leave the country for three weeks so that our poor housesitter is not completely overwhelmed with complicated watering instructions. Have been testing for a few weeks now and my plants seem to be very happy with this system. I used deli containers with small holes in the lids to prevent spills/evaporation. One of mine had a defective tube but the merchant replaces immediately. It’s true, you have to attach a small rock to each tube in order to weight it down, but they include a rubber band so the process is easy. Word of caution: MAKE SURE the water level is lower than the cone. I forgot this and almost drowned two of my plants. Luckily I caught it and pulled them out of their pots to dry out a bit, but left unchecked they definitely would have succumbed to root rot.
