Great quality!

I honestly wasn't expecting a whole lot, but this set certainly exceeded. Blades are sharp, razor is built to last, stand is sturdy, and the brush isn't a piece of junk. The included oil and aftershave smell great, feel good, but is not overpowering. The soap is good quality also. Only complaints I can make (and this is probably splitting hairs) is that the logo on the brush faded right off after 2 uses.. but who cares? And the soap's smell could be a little more potent for my taste. All in all - A+.

Great kit buy persona blades with it.

I really liked the razor and other items that it came with. My only advice is to throw out the razors and buy persona. I have been shaving my head for years with a DE razor and have never torn my head up. In fact I can count the number of times I have cut my head on one hand in the years I have used. The razor is a bit aggressive but there is descent weight to let the razor do the work. Angle will take a bit to get used to. I was able to shave faster. No issues with slipping or grip. Cleaning was easy and didn't require loosening the butterfly to do it. Brush and bowl worked fine with soap. No issues to lather and is descently made. You don't need a big bowl to do a big lather. I see a couple reviews about the stand where they had issues. There is nothing wrong. The head does not sit on the stand. There is a second ring that is just below the stand that actually holds the razor. There are images of this. I see no issues. To clean your brush rinse and shake the water out flicking it in sink or tub. It will no longer drip after a few good shakes The preshave oil an after shave seemed to do a good job. Easy to apply and takes very little. All in all it is a good kit. Just swap the blades as they are very aggressive and abrassive. I have used feather as well but persona is my go to. Update. So after trying a couple more times, this razor definetly needs some rework. While I can shave faster, it isn't as clean cut. I have to go extremely slow and even then, because of the design, you will get irritation and possibly cut. I am still going to try a few more times just to see but will probably switch back to my merkur 34c. Just a better shave with less irritations and much quicker. Both have there pluses and minuses. But over all I prefer merkur so far. 1 star dropped do to the amount of irritation and cuts. Which I don't get with my other. Update 2 After a few more times, I have finally found the appropriate motion to shave without getting nicked. While my other razor needs slow longer drags, this one needs short and quicker but precise movement. I have had 0 cuts last 3 head shaves or razor burn. I have also found the weight of the shaver is a bit heavy and need to keep the razor from resting completely. This razor does seem to get closer than my other and do a slightly better job. I have readded the star.

Great product for the price point!

Honestly, I was a little skeptical regarding this set due to the price point. That said, I can truly say that, for the money, you cannot beat this set! Every product is constructed well, solid and hyper-functional. The included soap, oil and balm are very good quality. I would highly recommend!

Amazing!

Great product for a first time straight razor shaver. This is my first experience trying out shaving with a straight razor. I solute my love this kit because it made it simple for a noob like me and has everything I need to enter the world of real men who shave with a straight razor. First I’ll start with the razor itself. It is very slick and has a nice design to it. The razor themselves seem like they are made of great quality. Gave me a nice shave and had my face feeling like baby’s butt. Absolutely no irritation, redness, or bumps after I shaved with this kit. That’s a big bonus because I usually get irritation no matter how I shave. The before shave oil and after shave, those have great smells and easy to use. Leave your skin feeling good with no problems afterwards. The brush and the bowl, both are great and simple to use. I just put the soap that they sent with the kit and leave it in that bowl and wet my brush up and rub it on the soap bar and run that on my face. Very affective and easy. The hanger looks nice and adds some style to the kit after you’re done shaving. Customer service is amazing. I like how they care about you and their product and make sure you are taken care of! Great Introduction to DE Shaving

Great product, everything you need to get a great shave with a safety razor. The only additional thing I could recommend would be an "alum block" for any nicks you might get while acclimating to using a safety razor. Since I've started using the safety razor I've only gotten one nick, definitely not nearly as intimidating as I thought it would be. The process doesn't take much longer (maybe 5 minutes or so) overall compared to my cartridge razor routine in the shower, all while getting a closer shave and saving a lot of money in replacement razors.

I have no complaints. This is affordable, comes with everything you need, and it's not cheaply made by any means. The brush is a good size and soft, and the razor is nice and heavy. I'm loving it! I definitely recommend.

Nice product and packaging.

I bought this for my husband and the quality is great. The package itself is very nice. The product came with resources to learn how to get a great shave which was great because my husband is new to this type of shave system.

Awesome kit

This kit is solid. Razor is easy to use and replace blades. Lather brush is made nicely, does its job and havent had any issue with bristle loss. This is just a great little kit. Viking Revolution comes through again, I use a bunch of their product and have yet to be disappointed in any way.

Every time I buy something it’s either me don’t like it or my husband well now it’s totally different we both like the Viking Revolution shaving kit me for one I like it cause my husband face is so smooth now and soft and he loves it he said it’s easy for him to shave the brush also feels so soft it’s totally worth the money! It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I couldn’t wait until than hahahaaa anyways jokes in the side you should go ahead and order this no mater for what your partner or friends would love this believe me it was the best gift I could ever purchase for my husband he totally loves it and totally satisfied I will purchase it again!

Great Shave Kit

This kit is a great starter kit. Comes with everything you need to start wet shaving. The pre shave beard oil and lather soap are great and make for a smooth shave. The brush works awesome to place on a nice coat of lather from the stainless steel bowl. The razor feels good in the hand and is weighted very nicely. The after shave beard balm is a nice finish to your shave and leaves a great scent. I have the kit that is sandalwood scented and the wife loves it.
