Great gadget, using it to collect water and channel rainwater flow to dryer parts of the patio

Fit the downspout (eventually), fit the extension (eventually), but an absolute BEAST to do. I'm old; I'm damaged; I don't work well in low places; and, my contractor rested the downspout elbows on the ground, bless his heart. I ended up taking a wee hacksaw to shorten the downspout to a length where I could attach the adaptor. We've had a couple of deluges since I installed 2 (of 3) of these, and now the water is going where I want/need it in those locations. No apparent leaks at joints.

This down spout adapter fit nicely to my rectangular drain pipe coming off the roof. I wanted to have it bend at the bottom and although it does not stretch out too far, it is built very sturdy, a consideration for me with wayward weed- wacking gardener as part of it will be exposed. Also part of the terminal end of this piece would be attached and buried in a small trench I dug as it attaches to the plastic pipe:" Flex-Drain 54001 Flexible/Expandable Landscaping Drain Pipe, Solid, 4-Inch by 8-Foot" that screwed on perfectly. I got most of this to go under ground on a slope for drainage. What I did not anticipate is that I would need yet another kind of coupler (with two female ends) to attach a guard to keep vermin out of the pipe as it exited from the ground. I placed a separate order for this:" Flex-Drain 55020 Drain Pipe Coupler Adapter, Female to Female" so I was able to attach the drain guard at the end that I found locally.

Installed on my gutter and it fit nice and perfect. not too loose not too snug. Can make a complete 90degree turn as well

My lawn has a noticeable slope heading away from the house, and my downspouts were causing some noticeable erosion that I got tired of patching. I needed a way to get from my standard-size downspout to some 4” PVC that I was going to bury in the ground. These worked perfectly. You can stretch them to the length you need, and flex them to handle the bend from the vertical downspout to the nearly horizontal PVC. The installation took less than a minute, and they work perfectly. If only digging the PVC trenches was as painless!

This installed easily and expands long enough to create any angle needed to attach to a drain pipe if needed. The flex drain along with a longer drainpipe helped move water from the downspout away from the house. We have been using other ones for several years and have been very happy with their sturdiness.

Fit snug on the gutter and was able to pull up the gutter quite a ways. My gutter outlet was not perfectly shaped and this still fit like a charm. Perfect with no drips/leaks. Highly recommended especially for guiding water away from the house. Thinking about getting additional accessories for another gutter outlet to extend the drainage path further away from the house ... only reluctant due to tree roots not because of product. Highly Recommended.

My Downspout and black corrugated drain pipe were separating and leaving a gap where water could escape and splash on the house/puddle in the yard. After looking at the big box stores, all I could find was this in 2"x3". Since I have 4"x3" downspouts, this worked out. I used short self tapping screws to secure this to both the metal downspout and the drain pipe, now I will never have to worry that they have separated again!

Works fantastic! My drainage pipe was not aligned with the hole in the ground (large circular pipe) - it was about 2 inches off. Voila! I bought this, bent the pipe to look like a lightning bolt, and problem solved. $3.22 to avoid having to change out a large main drain in the ground. VERY happy!

As a non-professional Do It Yourselfer, I found these parts easy to snap together. The company has helpful videos on their website to help you with installation. The accordion style tubes come compact are easily stored and move to the location. The tees and other fittings snap on to each other and the tubes clean and easy. If you need a yard drain, you can’t miss with this product.
