The butterfly habitats were exactly as described and were what I was looking for. Since I had several batches of caterpillars to put in them it was nice having two different sizes that I was able to use in two different locations.

Perfect for butterflies

My kids love observing the life cycle of butterflies! These are perfect habits for them! Sturdy & well made.

I have not used it yet. A friend had it set up and looked nice will rate when I set it up and see how effective it is.

On par with others

I'm still waiting on my first monarch eggs of the season. I was looking for a small square enclosure to possibly keep on my desk at work in hopes of getting others interested in planting milkweed by watching the life cycle. This combo of one small enclosure and one larger one wasn't much more expensive than some single enclosures or small 2 packs. I did open the small one and the quality seems just as high as other enclosures I have. The little pvc floor covers are a nice touch, I typically use plastic plant trays from the dollar tree to collect frass, but it's a thoughtful 'extra.' I'll update the review if I encounter any major flaws once I actually get some caterpillars in these, but based on my initial inspection I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.
