I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner for my A7riii. It is much better then the original that comes with the camera.

This eyepiece fit my a7II camera perfectly and now it is comfortable use the viewfinder without my nose being pressed up against the LCD screen.

I like the way this eyecup depth. Not too big that I can't see my flip-out screen and not too small. The only problem was it coming off if I ran around with my camera on the shoulder with a strap. It would pop off from the hip friction. So I taped around the eyecup to prevent this with gaffers tape.

I've had it for a couple weeks now and it's been a major upgrade to the OEM. Outside of the comfort factor: 1) you tend to not touch the screen with your nose and refocus the shot as the rubber portion comes out further vs OEM 2) no fogging up of the viewfinder since it isloates the bottom portion from your breath 3) the image on the viewfinder seems much more clear since it isolates stray light 4) the fit seems to be as good as the OEM if not better as I've had OEMs fall off. Great product overall!

This does as intended. It is relatively soft so it can fit around your eye socket well, though it just take just a tad of pressure and and I seem to have to hold the camera just a tiny bit higher to see well. That said, it works and I recommend it. Just FYI, I'm using it on a Sony A99II, but I'm guessing it would work just as well on the other models it fits.

This is a must have for anyone who uses the EVF! The OEM eye cup is too shallow. If you have a really short nose, this may not be the case, but for most of us, we need the eye cup to reach out and block stray light. This cup finds the balance between EVF functionality and Rear screen viewability when articulated.

The eye cup sucks for the Sony Alpha. Buy these for all of your songs!

This makes using the EVF much easier to use in any type of light. Its comfortable and isolates your eye and EVF. It does stick out more than the factory eyecup so if you flip up the screen and shoot from the waist looking down it will block part of the screen. I find it easy to pop off and put in a pocket when I am doing this but it's something that cannot be avoided if you want that good seal around your eye. If you wear glasses you will have to scrunch it up against your glasses in order for the infrared proximity sensor to switch from the main screen to the EVF. Bottom line is I use the EVF much more because of this and it makes the EVF experience much better.

Much better one that one comes with the camera, absolutely must have if you shoot outdoor specially when its sunny day. Works well, just right size. Original bit too small, you squeezing your nose into screen, other option will be to get one huge that attached to the screen. I have one of those and it works well as well but its bulky and require some setting before you start shooting.

I wanted a better eye cup for the A7RIII. This one fits perfect, gives a little more light block out and doesn't effect the auto on/off sensor. I highly recommend this product.
