Great Design compared to others I've worn. STILL Holding up well (@18 months); best mules I've owned.

As a long-time user of mules, I'm very pleased with these so far. Have been using NB for several years, and while they are very comfortable, they stretch out quickly and become unstable [had the cobbler sew on Velcro tabs to extend life], and now they've become way too expensive. These are very stable, with the design that comes way up the arch, and with a very helpful little back. These are longer range walkers than all the others because they provide such good support. Being leather, they should hold up. * * * * * * UPDATE . . . V.pleased with these as they are holding up v.well and provide almost as much support as a real shoe. Had to make two long walks, one almost 2 miles in them [bike failure] and my feet didn't suffer a bit. UPDATE 2 . . . Just passed 1yr anniversary. Worn them every day. As mentioned, had a few forced long walks in them and they did just fine. Sole shows minimal wear; leather has stretched only minimally. Great Product. [New Balance - PAY ATTENTION !] UPDATE3 . . . . Just passed 18mo anniversary. Worn every day. Still holding shape, very supportive, minimal sole wear. GREAT product.

Only worry should be determining your size

I have purchased Skechers slip-ons before and know that, in my case, I need to buy a half size smaller shoe. They fit very well and are really comfortable. Very light and the memory foam inner sole provides nice support for my high arches. Upon receiving them, I sprayed them with protectant to reduce possible staining. I do this with all my new shoes that can't be polished.

My shoe size always has caused me problems. Where I live, it is nearly impossible to find men's shoes my size: I'm just one point beneath where the choice begins... In Europe, that's 40. Guys with size 39 get viewed as Liliputters, and are condemned to wear ladies' shoes, or kid's shoes. Quite annoying! These shoes were available in my size. On itself, that is a wonder already! Apart from that, they are neat to look at, and very confortable. This model can be worn as a slipper, or as a shoe. You can slip in and out easily, thanks to the low back, and if you walk out in the streets with them while forgetting to put on 'real' shoes (if you're the air-brain type, like me), you won't look silly!

nice and comfy

Very comfortable and nice looking. I have worn these shoes for a few days and I have to say they are very comfortable. The fit is nice and they look really great. I really like them and I will be ordering an extra pair for when I wear these out.
