These work great and stay clean. I'm using it in the kitchen but have another one for the tub I have yet to try. It holds water well.

So its hot around right not and I get super bad headaches in the heat. I have been getting these wet, wring them out, and drape them over my head. It keeps me cool in this crazy heat we have been having. Its the perfect size as well. I used washcloths but were too small. These keep me neck, head, and ears at a cool temperature. They are also really sturdy towels. I have been using them constantly and no problem so far.

I could not BE happier with my Phoodie mats! I bought two after seeing my Mother in Law using another brand I did an amazon search for this type of mat, I ultimately bought this brand rather than the Silipat that she had, why? Because the price was a little lower, I liked the look of this mat and I really loved that they come with storing clips! These are wonderful mats! No more cooking sprays! I can just put any food on them and cook it, so great for cookies especially. No you cannot use these as trivets, or in the bottom of your oven or in your broiler, but that is not what they are made for. They are made to bake on, made of fiberglass and high grade silicone you just bake and wash!
