Solved my problem...

Our (very long) driveway is concealed from our view. This has become a security problem. NOW, with this simple setup we are notified or awaken by any vehicle or person on our property. Neat design... love the receiver and design as well as the tones is makes. Battery (or USB) backup receiver can be carried easily. GREAT product, looking to expand soon. Only a slight comment.. I would like to see the mounting base be the same size of a 4x4 post (3.5").

Elegant look and functions great !

This functions exactly as described; I installed it on my driveway... Charged the batteries to 100% using USB first and then placed it outside, it charges using solar power. The range is very good and the chime is pleasant and volume adjustable … it has two range modes, 20ft or 30ft which I think is pretty reasonable. Now, when guest arrive, I get notified as soon as they pull into the drive way ! Can be used as a motion sensor to detect animal movement in the yard too...

Excellent Customer Service

I originally ordered the Model # B07PRGGRGW on 5 Jan 2019 to use on the driveway entrance to my parents farm (about 75 miles from where I live). Unfortunately that unit did not function well as it had too many false alarms and also wouldn't detect actual vehicles consistently. A few weeks later I was able to get back to the farm and I moved the unit from a tree that I had mounted it on to a post closer to the driveway, but it didn't help. I contacted Hosmart after about a month and they sent a replacement detector unit, but it was only slightly better. Hosmart customer service then told me about this unit which was just about to be released and offered to reimburse my purchase if I wanted to try it. I did so and this unit is working very well. Every once in a while it will fail to detect a vehicle...but that is fairly rare. The false alarm problem seems to be completely resolved. This new unit correctly works satisfactorily (at least 95% of the time) and the company really worked hard to resolve the issue. The next time I get back to the farm, I will take a picture of the installation to upload to this review. Thanks to Hosmart for working hard to ensure my satisfaction.

No Regrets!

This product is performing as described. We have the receivers inside a metal building and there doesn’t appear to be any problem with getting the signal from the sensor mounted on the drive. Customer service is top notch and even answered my call on a Sunday. Very pleased with this purchase after 1 weeks use.

Excellent quality and workmanship

I received this three days ago and waited until I had the opportunity to validate the quality of this unit. I have purchased Hosmart systems in the past and have been extremely happy with the quality, workmanship, and price of their products; therefore, I decided to purchase this wireless motion sensor & detector. I have purchased systems similar to the Hosmart one and have not been pleased with the results. First of all, they were all powered by some sort of battery (AA, C & 9V). As you would expect this could be costly. As a matter of fact, after a short period of time, I just went without one. With the success of the other Hosmart items I have purchased I decided to go with this - and I am glad that I did. As with the other items from Hosmart, this alarm is quality built. It was very easy to set up and operate. The outside unit is solar powered and the inside unit is both battery (for backup) and AC. There are 4 different settings for sound notification and the volume can be controlled. Also, the unit is set up where you can add other outdoor sensors. Though we live in a suburban neighborhood my wife and I were able to test this unit by pointing the sensor up the street from our home (about 1/3 of a mile) to see if the alarm would go off - it did - loud and clear. Our home sits on a corner lot and the garage is on the side of the home vs in front. The main purpose of purchasing this alarm was to provide an additional layer of safety to the current video system. I am very pleased.

Distance and ease of installation.

I purchased a second HS002 sensor in order to track visitors arriving up long, tree lined driveway. Item works as advertised. I am very pleased with ease of installation and trigger distance. No complaints at all.
