Refurbished, Seems to work ok, was hoping for better performance, only get Red light for signal strength, which is fine, considering is like 50 feet from house to garage where it is.. and house is wrapped in foil faced foam, light will go green, when garage overhead garage doors open.. but the are metal too, so working pretty good considering..

Works great, Easy Setup

This works so well I bought a second one. With the “Mesh” it seamless access anywhere in the house and backyard. Very easy set up.

Excellent range

Even better than advertised...

We have a 2-story house and the WiFi signal from the Xfinity-provided gigabit router has a hard time reaching the Master Bedroom, Master Bath, and Living Room downstairs. Installing the NETGEAR AC1900 as a range extender quickly fixed the problem. Speeds are a little bit slower (as expected), but signal strength is strong and connectivity is no longer an issue downstairs. I'm pretty computer savvy, but setup was easier than I expected and the One WiFi Name feature works. I may buy a 2nd unit for my parents' house just to simplify things - they are always forgetting to switch from router to router when they move across their house, but I don't want to spend $250+ for a dedicated mesh router system when all they need is one strong WiFi Extender.
