My one lock did not work on my 2015 4Runner so I called Toyota. They told me it was most likely the actuator and it was $350 for the part and $350 for the labor because it was a difficult job...Well, I watched a Youtube video and it didn't seem that difficult. I ordered this part from Amazon and I put aside a couple of hours to tackle this project...BAM, it was way easier than expected and took me a total of 30 minutes to install and i am no mechanic...It has now been a week and works perfectly and I saved $640.00. Thank you Amazon! My advice, BUY THIS...Anyone with simple mechanical knowledge can install this.

The door locking mechanism works fine but the position switches are not working so the touch locking and remote lock does not work. The car doesn't beep when lock is pressed and the touch sensors on the handles are not working. Update - turns out the passenger side actuator quite working as well so it was not locking and causing the beep and flashing lights not to occur. This product seems to work fine after all.

I purchased for my 2015 Toyota 4Runner. It arrived packaged properly and in new condition. I followed install instructions I found online (highly recommend). I am very mechanically inclined and I found the work easy, as I have a good selection of standard tools to do the work. Overall, within 30 minutes the complete install was done and it worked great ever since. The part is much more cost effective than buying from the dealer. I am glad I bought this as it solved my door locking issue.

Had to replace all four doors to my Highlander. Once we got the first one in the rest were pretty easy. The front left and front right from this company seemed just as good as the Toyota part and Toyota wanted $250 a piece! Just know the the rear door actuators are different from the front doors. The company was very gracious and had great communication with the order.

Good fit and replacement part on 2014 Lexus GX460. Some fiddle with the installation mostly getting the door panel back on but has nothing to do with the part. All functions work properly - power lock/unlock, remote lock/unlock, manual lock/unlock, keyless touch unlock, door handle, door latch. ~10% of cost of Lexus part. No brainer. Will update if it fails.

After about a year our lock started going out on our brand new 4runner. Dealer wanted a ridiculous amount to fix issue. After digging into forums and product reviews I came across this product. Easy install and problem was solved for a fraction of the price.

Just replaced my door lock actuator on my 2012 Toyota Highlander. Took me about 20-30 minutes to replace using a Phillips, flathead and Torx screwdrivers. I saved at least $400 doing it myself. I’ve read numerous forums about people spending $500 at the stealerships getting this fixed. DO IT YOURSELF. SAVE THE MONEY.

This door latch actuator was used in a 2015 Toyota 4RUNNER (driver's door). Took just a few days to get here. Very reasonably priced. Took 30 minutes to replace. Toyota dealer wanted over $400 to replace it!

The door actuator was relatively easy to install, I found 2-3 YouTube videos that I watched first. Any difficulty was related to the overall door design, not this specific part. Installed it in a 2013 Lexus ES350 in less than an hour, including having to redo it once because I didn’t align the exterior handle rod correctly the first time.

This product is a dream come true for me. I've owned several cars from Lexus and I've replaced numerous actuators. Those cheap little motors in them always burn out. I've paid at least $200 for all the ones I've replaced before so I've probably spent upwards of $1600 on actuators. This little beauty is a 1/6 of the price and works just as well. Watch a youtube video and do this yourself. Totally worth it.
