YEAH BABY!

Quicken wanted me to pay $49.95 plus tax to renew my membership for 12 months. On Amazon, I paid about $36 for a 14 month renewal. I just input the renewal code into my current version of Quicken and VOILA! I can't speak to the actual software. I, too, found a lot of changes with the newer versions of Quicken and liked it much better when it was part of Intuit (Turbo Tax), but purchasing this membership renewal on Amazon was much easier and less expensive than renewing directly with Quicken.

Financial necessity!

I've been using quicken for many years and have lived through all of the ups and downs of if the software, including changing from intuit . This is still the best software to help with managing finances across my portfolio IMO. The only thing that bothers me is having to be forced to update the software . This is the first time i have purchased an annual license, so now I will have to purchase again in a year and two months (thanks amazon for the two months). Wish quicken would just come up with a monthly subscription fee and be done with it.

Smooth transition from Quicken 2016 to 2019

Not sure what difficulties some people are having, but my transition to 2019 was smooth. Only issue was that I had to physically go into the "computer registry" to remove left behind files from my 2016version. I thought that CCleaner should have wiped it, but didn't. Once I finished that, clear sailing with install and import of my most recent backup. Thus far (still exploring) I'm very pleased with the format and abilities available to tweak how Quicken operates with my banks and investment companies. At this point based on my experience I'd give Quicken an A+, and as for the ongoing yearly subscription fee, look around, that's the way most main stream software companies are operating.

Great Product

I've been using Quicken for many years, although the last version I purchased was 2016. I was concerned about upgrading to the 2019 version based on some of the reviews, but really had no choice since many of the important features were expiring in April. I went ahead and purchased the 2019 version since Amazon was offering such a good deal . I downloaded the new version and saved the file to a flash drive to install it on a second computer and in case I needed it later. The install worked flawlessly on both computers and all features seem to be working properly, including bill pay and register updating from my bank.

Love Quicken

I have been using Quicken for over 20 years. I like that it updates every time there is n update rather than once a year as previously. Quicken in so easy to use to track all your spending. The best think they have added in the last few years is that you can add a digital copy of all your receipts so you always have receipts when you need them for taxes, warranties or returning items

Better deal than what Quicken offers

This review is for a subscription renewal to Quicken 2019 Deluxe--not for the software itself (which sucks, but some of us are so heavily invested in it we are stuck waiting for something better to emerge). This deal is less expensive than what Quicken offers for a 1 year renewal and it provides 14 months rather than 12. Use the download option and go to your digital assets in Amazon and simply copy and paste your new activation code into Quicken (Help--> Activation). Works flawlessly.

Best Quicken for Mac

Much improved over previous Mac versions... not happy about the subscription... but oh well

Quicken is easy to use

Just bought and downloaded last week, so far it is like my previous version. Do not like you have to renew your subscription and buy next version.

I don't understand all the negative reviews...

I have used Quicken for decades. I was hesitant to buy the new subscription software because of all the negative comments. I'm not sure what everyone's issue is but my purchase and install was seamless and uneventful. My data was imported intact (from Quicken 2016) and everything was unchanged. All functions work and all on-line synchronizations with my bank, credit cards and brokerage worked as usual. Bottom line, my concerns were groundless. I also downgraded from Premier to Deluxe without a problem and the Amazon price was the lowest. I'm a happy camper.
