I purchased this as a fruits cutter. It's light weight and easy to carry. It come with cover and easy packing for trips. I really like it.

I will need to get used to this

For some reason I'm afraid to use it on "sturdy" vegetables and fruits, i.e. apples, potatoes because I'm afraid it will break. It does a terrific job on tomatoes, avocado and since I always hand-wash my knives that's no problem. Tell me I'm being overly cautious.
