- STURDY HANDLE AND STRONG RIVETS: Solidly constructed from high quality stainless steel - from the two layers of tightly woven fine mesh to the thick handle and strong rivets.
- RESTS ON THE SINK FOR EASY STRAINING: We saw the problem with other strainers, so we specifically designed ours to be sink friendly. Just rest the stainless steel strainer in the sink or on the counter for hands-free straining.
- NO MORE TRAPPED FOOD: The rounded rim prevents food from being trapped between the mesh and rim. It’s so tight that nothing gets caught under it.
- 365 DAY GUARANTEE: We stand behind our products completely and are so sure you’ll love your new strainer that we offer a full 1 year guarantee. If you’re not satisfied for ANY reason, just return it to us for a full refund, no questions asked.
- HOLES SMALLER THAN THE TIP OF A TOOTHPICK: This ultra-fine mesh strainer has double weaved mesh so the “holes” which are smaller than the tip of a round toothpick - trust us...no solid food is getting through here!

Great for quinoa
If this thing holds up it'll be a great product. The mesh is really fine. The picture I've included is of a piece of quinoa and a grain of white rice in the strainer (taken through a jeweler's loop with my phone). I've used it for rinsing rice and quinoa so far and I'll use it for sifting flour tomorrow. Nice to have a quality piece of equipment.

Great quality strainer
Great quality strainer, perfect size-I use it to strain my cheese and it fits perfectly ( I had smaller one before and had to strain it in batches). I also like how fine the mesh is so I could strain my cranberry punch and it holds the seeds perfectly without creating a pool in the strainer. Love how comfortable the handle is, just the feel of it. Highly recommend this strainer!

Easy to Clean, Balances on Sink, Fine Mesh works with Small Foods
Pros - Easy to clean. The mesh meets fairly flush with the metal which helps keep small foods, such as rice, from slipping under the edge of the lip and getting stuck (common problem with plastic strainers). - Dishwasher safe. - Stays well balanced on the sink to strain. Saves the extra hand for carrying large or hot pots over to strainer. - Mesh is good size for small foods like rice and quinoa. - Versatile. Large opening and medium depth allows easy dumping and draining of pots of pasta and rice. - Well built and sturdy. Grip is natural to the hand. - Design lends itself well to storing flat on cupboard door. Cons - Opening is a smidge too large for dumping rice back in 2 quart pot after boiling without getting a couple grains of rice in the sink. I've used this strainer multiple times a week for several months now. It's my workhorse. I most often use it for the following: rinsing single to double servings of fruit (berries), rinsing rice, draining rice after cooking, thawing frozen veggies (peppers and onions), rinsing canned beans. The first picture shows it being used to rinse quinoa and lentils. The second picture, as a size reference, shows the strainer with four 15.5oz cans of red beans.

If you were stuck on a desert island and needed one kitchen utensil...
I love this strainer. It is large and study. It's big enough to cover a 10-inch diaper pot and hang over the sink so that no pasta falls into the drain. It's strong enough to dip into a 3 gallon stainless steel pot to deep fry whatever you want. I've also been able to place entire baking ingredients into this and sift all the ingredients to aerate them. Recommended for anyone who loves to cook. If you only buy one sieve... buy this.

Very well-made kitchen strainer. I love it. And I am happy that the mesh is very fine. I cook clams often and as I am shucking them, and this strainer catches most of the sand in the clam juice. I hate throwing away the clam juice, so this is important to me. Fine, fine quality metal and mesh. Thank you, "Yummy Kitchenware"!

Actually lives up to the description. Sturdy quality.
No gaps, no wires poking out, no cheap aluminum tape around the rim. Was worth the splurge. But if you have a tiny apartment kitchen this does take up a lot of space. I nearly returned it for this reason, but the quality of this...I'll keep it and deal with the lack of space.

Great food strainer
Use this food strainer to wash fruits and vegetables and of course, you will need it if you love pasta just like me (to drain the water after cooking). A very good quality, big enough but not too much, just exactly what I needed!

FINEST Strainer I’ve Ever Owned. Pun Intended
PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! Right down to the gorgeous tag they put on the strainer, saying that they’d “do whatever it takes to make you happy”. Wow wow, you don’t see that a lot! This strainer even strained the clumps out of my POWDERED sugar; it’s that fine. Best strainer I’ve ever owned!

Durable!
Other mesh strainers have separated at the rim, but I doubt this one will. It is very sturdy and well crafted. The handle feels almost soft in your hand, and the hook is perfect for supporting at the sink or over a pot. The overall size is just right for any straining, and the mesh is fine enough to perfectly sift confectioners sugar on top of any pastry.

Wild rice does not get stuck in this strainer! It is also fine enough to force fresh or frozen berries through to remove seeds and produce a smooth sauce. Cleans easily. With the sturdy rim and long handle, this 9-inch version will fit several of my bowls. Good adjunct to other, less fine strainers.
