PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS and extensive review
For frequent travelers, commuters on public transit, or poker players like me, reducing the noise around you is the difference between just enduring a trip and enjoying it. Noise-cancelling headphones can make your music / podcasts / videos easier to hear and your world a little more peaceful and allow you to concentrate. These versatile headphones both sound great, effectively reduce noise, and function wired and wirelessly with the optional included headphone cable. They do everything right and nothing wrong. It cancels noise effectively without producing the painful “eardrum suck” phenomenon that we’ve experienced with more aggressive noise-cancelling headphones like the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II. These Bluetooth headphones sound balanced and natural and they’re comfortable to wear for hours, which is important if you’re stuck on a long flight or in a noisy office or doing a 12 hour poker marathon like me. The very long battery life means you’ll get lots of use between charges. I did my whole poker event for 12 hours straight and the headphones were still going strong. The travel case is a little bulkier than some, but beyond that there’s really nothing we don’t like about this set of headphones. There is a microphone built in that seems to work well and I was able to make and receive calls and no one seemed to have any difficulty hearing me. Noise-cancelling headphones are designed to reduce low-pitched humming and droning sounds, which you’ll encounter in an airplane cabin and, to a lesser extent, on buses and trains (and probably boats, too, although we haven’t tried that). They can also reduce sounds from some machinery, such as loud air conditioners. A decent set of headphones with active noise cancelling can make airplane travel much more enjoyable because it allows you to hear movies, music, and in-flight entertainment clearly without having to turn the volume way up. You can also use these headphones even when you’re not listening to anything, just to make the cabin noise less annoying; some people use noise-cancelling headphones to help themselves fall asleep on long flights. Noise-cancelling headphones work by using microphones to capture the noise around you and then feeding an opposite (or phase-reversed) version of that sound into the tiny speakers (or drivers) built into the headphones. The result is that they cancel out the external noise to some degree. It never works perfectly but it can work well enough in certain environments to make listening more enjoyable. The best noise-cancelling headphones combine this “active” noise cancelling with passive noise cancelling—that is, physical barriers and dampers built into the headphones that help block or absorb noise. It’s a popular misconception that ANC headphones cancel out all noises equally. They don’t. Most do little to reduce external noises at frequencies above about 1 kilohertz. To give you an idea of what that sounds like, the sound of the exclamation “ahhh” is mostly below 1 kHz, while the sound of the word “hiss” is mostly above 1 kHz. Although active noise cancelling can cancel out only part of the human voice (and, regrettably, almost none of the noise of a crying baby), passive noise reduction can help reduce the level of those higher-frequency sounds. Contrary to some audio companies’ claims, though, passive noise reduction doesn’t do much to reduce sounds below 1 kHz. My biggest issue with these was the instructions to pair them were printed WAY to small and difficult to understand so I'll give you the quick an easy version here: 1. Make sure headphones are OFF and unplugged from both the headphone jack and power cord. 2. Turn you phone or device you want to pair them with on and in pairing mode 3. Put headphones on where you can hear them and hold power-button for about 2 seconds AFTER they say "Power On" till it says "Ready to Pair" 3. The name on your device to connect to should say "Apollo 1" click "connect" 4. You should be paired and the headphones and device will remember each other and you won't need to do it again. Other tips: The buttons go on the right ear Sometimes in a very noisy area the headphones seem to get a sort of feedback low freq thumming noise that you can make go away by covering the mic with your finger to reset it.

If you’re not into name brand items, this is a perfect fit!
I used to only buy products that are name brand like beats and Bose, but I decided to try these out. I’m so happy I did! The sound quality and battery life is great (I was able to use it for at least five hours without charging), the look is super slick, and it’s built to be strong. As far as the noise cancelling feature... it’s okay. It does cancel out some noise, but that doesn’t bother me because the sound quality is great. I would still give 5 stars because it actually compares to name brand headphones!

Great noise cancelling headphones for the money!
Ordered these noise cancelling headphones for mowing the lawn/ work around the house in place of a more expensive pair of Bose or beats and I have to say, after a weekend chock full of mowing, weedwacking, blowing, etc... these fit the bill. Initially I wasn't blown away with the noise cancelling feature in a quiet environment but thought music sounded great. It's not until the first time I mowed with them on that I was beyond pleased with the noise cancelling feature as it becomes much more noticeable when wearing with a loud lawn mower running in the background. I cannot fully attest to the battery life just yet as I have about 8 hrs of use on the first charge with no issue. I will update review of any changes as needed, but for now, I am very happy with my purchase. They seem well built, come in a quality carrying case, are easy to pair, and work great.

Sleek, well made, affordable, quality made
Ok, got these on Thursday, took about 1 hr to charge to max, have been using these in different environments to test ANC...WONDERFUL QUALITY. The Bluetooth pairing is easy, these are very user friendly, all appropriate buttons of operation are easily accessed. What I love the most is the comfort in wearing them, the muffs are large and FULLY COVER the ears, and the padding on top of band make them very wearable...I binge watched GOT first 4 episodes, did not become”heavy” or annoying after hours of wear. I watched several things in room with another 55in tv with stereo sound steaming a movie, had no issues with sound quality. I used a pair of Corwin E7 ANC headphones for comparison, and am please to say that the size of the muffs and the overall weight of these were far better for continuous wear and multiple hours of play. The battery life is excellent, and they come in a very nicely made compartment for storage. I have tried other Fogeek products, against Otterbox, etc., and they have not disappointed me so far, look forward to more of their products, quality with a great price tag.

Great sound, noise cancellation, comfort, and bang for your buck.
TLDR: Unbeatable product at this price point. Noise cancellation works better than expected and makes road noise inaudible while listening to music in the car. Sound quality has punchy bass, clear midrange, and good highs, makes for accurate and enjoyable listening experiences for any genre of music. Easy to pair with your phone. Lasting comfort for long listening sessions. The noise cancellation feature on these headphones works much better than I expected it to. The headphones cancel out roughly 70% of the ambient noise in a given environment, making for pleasant car rides or instant relief from the sound of a vacuum in the house. They cannot completely cancel the sounds of voices talking nearby or short outbursts of sound, but they shouldn't be expected to - no headphones on the market can achieve that level of noise cancellation. An interesting thing to note is that turning on the noise cancellation dramatically changes the sound signature of the headphones and makes them sound much better than without it. With the feature off, the headphones are extremely bass heavy and lack any clarity in the mid or high ranges, making music sound punchy but dull in color. I would recommend listening with the noise cancelling feature on at all times, even if you're in a quiet room. The bass is much less overwhelming and the mid and high ranges are much more balanced. I am a classical musician (I play the oboe) and after listening to a number of orchestral recordings, I can say that the sound quality of these headphones is superb. Compared to the Beats Solo 3's, these headphones sound crisp and less bottom-heavy. Most headphones fail to accurately reproduce the delicate tone quality of acoustic instruments, yet this headset has the range/response/balance to do so with little fault. If I had one complaint, it would be that the bass is a bit punchy even with the noise cancelling feature on (check the above segment on noise cancellation feature if you're confused), but after testing with other genres, this makes for an enjoyable experience listening to hip-hop, EDM, alternative, or almost anything else. (Even Country!) The interface of the headphones is also very intuitive, but in case it isn't, the headphones did come with a user manual that gave clear instructions on how to use it. The buttons on the headset are clicky and feel sturdy enough to withstand long-term use. I had no issues with connecting the headphones to my phone over Bluetooth. Battery life while using them wirelessly is also good - the headphones can last through a whole day of extensive listening without needing a charge. Since I just got the product, I can't speak to the longevity of the battery over months or years, but right now I have no complaints. The design quality of the headphones is good, but not great. This can be good or bad; the materials feel cheap, but they are also very light. It doesn't feel like it would break apart instantly, but it doesn't exactly feel rugged either. On the upside, the lightness and over-ear design of these headphones make them very comfortable for long (>1 hour) listening sessions. I had no discomfort while wearing these headphones for 2 hours straight, even while wearing glasses. The pressure of the ear cups feels like it would be enough to keep them on my head while working out, but it isn't so tight as to give me a headache or ear pain after some time. Overall, these headphones are also comfortable, easy to use, and have great sound quality and good noise cancellation. I would definitely recommend getting a pair. For a product with these features and this much quality, the price can't be beaten.

Good sound quality, comes with a luxury case also.
I have to thank the seller because I received something I didn't expect efficient is the luxury leather case. I used to buy an extra case for my old headphone which cost my another fifteen bucks and didn't have same quality that my new one does. You have your aux cable and USB cable inside the case. It says noise cancelling so I put on my ears, I really does! You can just hear mumble sound outside your ears so you can enjoy your music without the annoying sound people make. Strong bass, crystal clear sound. You really don't need to spend big money on those fancy brand like bose, beat, Sony... This one can satisfy you I belief.

Budget Winner for Over Ear Headphones.
A little bit about me, I'm a music lover and own a pair of QC35's so i wasn't expecting these headphones to compare with the likes of that. While i was right in some regard i was surprised with these, for $60 they might be some of the best headphones on the market for that price point. The Noise Canceling is not great in my opinion but this was expected as the QC35s go for $350 and these are a fraction of the price of those. The sound quality on the other hand is great and provides a great listening experience! Pairing is dead simple and its headphones are comfortable for extended periods of time! I will be sure to update my review as time goes on.
