Heavy duty construction and super sharp fine focus

So this is the fourth spotting scope I have ever owned and by far the best and most clear scope. It really draws in the light and is very clear. The packaging is very sturdy and nicely designed - not packed in a flimsy carton box which doesn't seem a great way to pack optics. I took it out last week when I got three rifles sighted in and the glasshauk performed above expectations for the price under the given conditions. The image is not blurry at all and the colors through the scope don't change which is exactly what I need. Very happy with this and I will recommend it to my friends who shoot with me at the range.

WOW! Great for Birding- This one was the best price/quality ratio I could find

Scopes are usually like cars, you get what you pay for and they range in price widely. The GlassHawk spotting scope 80mm is an exception from the rule because I got Vortex quality, clarity, and colors for half of the price. I am bird watcher and my friends who own other more expensive scopes were blown away by the deal on this scope. I also enjoy watching eagles, birds, deer, etc. around my property and I had no expectation of using it as a telescope for looking at the moon and planets but recently gave it a try after reading some positive reviews. We were amazed at the clarity and detail we were able to see of the moon's features. The phone adapter included makes it so easy to take 100% clear photos and save them without trying to hold it in my phone, shaking for 10 minutes, cramping and not getting 1 good photo, great gift. The zoom blows your mind away because you can go to 50X and the details are still there, colors are vivid, incredible! I enjoy having the adjustable eyepiece because I wear glasses and it doesn't bother me at all. The 80mm objective is nice to catch all the light possible even if we are watching during dawn or dusk. Overall, I am super happy with this spotting scope for birdwatching and would recommend it to anyone who loves watching wildlife and being outdoors! :)

Large objective, makes a very bright image, absolutely great I love it

This is my first spotting scope and I use it for birding and I find it excellent for the way I use it as an indoor scope for viewing birds outside at places where they would fly away if I was outside. The clarity is amazing and the bird's colors are very vibrant. As I can see so far, the scope keeps the image clear even at high magnifications and allows us to get personal with birds without disturbing them. The eye relief is excellent without making me dizzy. Perfect gift packaging and accessories, recommend it 100%

A+ Clarity & Focus - This is the clearest spotting scope for target shooting I've owned

Can't beat the distance and clarity in the spotter viewer at this price! The glass is very clear. Images are sharp all the way up to 60x. I read reviews on lots of scopes before purchasing this one and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. I mostly use it for up to 300 yards (longest on my range) but I don't see why not using it even further than that. I have to say this is a very well built sturdy scope with a nice crystal clear view of your target (can see the bullet holes and colors very easily - range shooting with small .223/5.56 diameter bullets). I would recommend this for anyone looking to get a very good if not excellent spotting scope to take to the range for shooting practice or zeroing your rifle scope. The follow shooters all used it and displayed amazement at how clear and sharp the target came in at 300 yards. The perfect Range spotting scope for the money.

This is a good piece of optics for the price - Easy to use and great for bird watching

One of my favorite fall activities is bird watching. We have several feeders around the farm and this scope is perfect for getting up close and personal. My wife and I really enjoy this scope. It feels very sturdy without being too heavy to carry on a trail to a bird blind as well. The images are very crisp, clear and bright even when you are not zoomed in all the way. The focus and zoom are smooth and I purchased a longer tripod so we can watch while standing. The phone adapter is very useful and easy to attach - we've been taking very clear photos directly on our phone using the Bluetooth clicker included. The protective case is sleek and feels soft & premium. The value is the real kicker here. It's great. You really can't get anything else like this for that good of a price. Can't beat it.

THIS IS A GREAT SCOPE AND A REAL BANG FOR THE BUCK

I have been looking for a decent HD spotting scope for a good price for the shooting range and hunting soon. I really like the $2500.00 units but come on, it's not going to happen. I have a $400 Vortex received as a gift and compared with this one, I can't see any difference. The Creativexp Glasshawk 80mm is just what I need for target shooting here in Texas (I see my bullet holes clearly from 300 yards - no fringing or bordering). Plus let's not forget about all the accessories included with saved me around $50... Good deal at a great price for a high-quality sturdy scope. PS. Yes, I am a woman and I go to the shooting range 5 times a week, hunt deer & bear, it's 2019. :)

Spectacular spotting scope - Unreal clarity - A must-have for big game hunters.

I purchased this spotting scope for elk hunting in Montana. Initially, I am impressed with the quality of this spotting scope (I like to call it "an adult monocular") and it’s sturdiness. It is lightweight, easy to assemble, and does the job that I want it to in an incredible way. With that being said, the glasshawk doesn't lack performance at the high end of its magnification range as other expensive scopes like Celestron or Nikon. When using my other scope, once I hit about 40x zoom, the picture darkens substantially and it becomes hard to distinguish fine detail on the target. With this one, I have no trouble seeing details even at 40-50x. Picture quality within this range is great and I am glad that I didn't purchase a more expensive brand. Luckily, I prefer to use the spotter scope within all kinds of ranges, so the picture going dark at the high end is really a big ding for me - problem solved by this spotter. I ended up taking it outside to look at the moon the other night and was blown away by the picture. Even at it's highest magnification, the picture was superb (Probably due to how much light the moon gives off). The tripod is short but metal, so pretty sturdy (not like the highest quality ones because those tripods cost as much as the scope). Last thing, the packaging is awesome and it would be a great gift for a hunter like me.

Great Spotting Scope for intermediate/advanced distance shooters even small caliber

I bought this scope after seeing it in a few hunting TV shows and they were impressed with the quality for the price and clarity of the image. I needed this spotter scope to spot my .308 bolt rifle and my AR15 5.56 at 300 yards. It works great placed on the short metal tripod included and sit it on the ground next to the bench. To be honest, I am using dirty bird type splat targets but it also works with steel disks painted white. The value of all the accessories included is amazing and they really tried to offer a ONE STOP shop for shooters. I haven't tried it on plain paper yet but probably works as well. I'm sure that it would be good beyond 300yards too but where I live there aren't any ranges where you can shoot farther. I think the scope is a great value for the price. *You can use the phone adapter included taking photos of the target without having to look through the scope and save them to see your progress.

Very Impressive

UPS just delivered this scope to my front door. It was beautifully packaged, the packaging alone was very impressive. I purchased this scope primarily for target shooting but I can already see my wife salivating over the possibilities of using it in her photography. She has already scanned the neighborhood and has rated the scope for me.

The glasshawk is a very good spotting scope for target shooting and stargazing. I've looked through probably over 200 riflescopes/ ED spotting scopes/binoculars/sight red dots/range finders, and you get a feel for what is actually 'good glass'. this does qualify as extremely good HD glass. i use it primarily for shooting and astronomy ( we took it with us to Turk's & Caicos and the sky was the best!! ), it works awesome for both. I have the angled version which makes it easier to look vertical. I can see clearly bullets hitting steel at 500yds at the shooting range, then go home and check Jupiter's stripes and admire its 4 big moons, then swing over to Saturn and be able to clearly make outlines in its rings. The 2 focus knobs are very accurate and easy to use - you know that feeling when you move the focus knob slowly and you can tell "this is the best quality possible I can get" - these focus knobs give me that feeling very often. The 80mm diameter is perfect, crystal clear and without any fog or scratches (because it's nitrogen filed). Anyways, I am happy with this spotting scope and I will probably use it for hunting this year in our Alaska trip. I bought this brand because of Steven Rinella recommends vortex and creativexp but this price is much better and similar quality. I will post an update after hunting season.
