Affordable and Accurate great for hobbyist or proffesional.

I was not expecting much out of this. Having been a trained machinist and knowing quality calipers and micrometers, I knew better but these are actually great. These are great for home and hobby, I would even use then in a machine shop as any machinist knows even expensive German instruments have to be calibrated often. These are an easy way to get precise measurements around the house for repairs or hobby instead of fiddling with a ruler when accuracy or small measurements are needed. Yes these are plastic jaws but even metal ones are made of soft metals, because if you are applying enough pressure to scratch or scar the jaws then you are doing it wrong. The plastic jaws are a plus in my book, this lets you work with soft materials such as Aluminum, gold, silver, wood, plastic, wax or any other soft materials without fear of scratching, as with any caliper you must first close the jaw and zero it out, then you are ready for use. My reason for buying these where that I needed my wife's pupillary distance or pd distance and I was a bit cautious of putting sharp metal jaws close to her eyes. It worked great for that purpose. For the price and accuracy you cant beat the price these are great. Also for those wondering, with the larger jaws you measure outer diameter, with the smaller jaws you measure inner diameter. With the step at the tail of the caliper you measure depth, for instance the depth of a hole. Would I recommend this? You bet I would.

Wood working

I bought this Adoric Electronic Digital Caliper for my husband to use for working in his wood working shop. I was told by him that he liked it alot for his small projects like bird houses. It was even nice that it came with a extra battery and if you forget to shut the Digital Caliper off don't worry it will time out and shout off. In my opinion this Adoric Electronic Digital Caliper has a fair price.

Cheap Caliper for the Desk!

Everyone needs a cheap caliper for their pencil holder! Sometimes I just need a quick check while at my desk and I've found that these cheap calipers are just the thing! If I drop them and roll over them with my chair so what?!?! I'll just buy another pair! Understandably you are not going to want to do anything fancy with these, they are literally as cheap as you could imagine, but still, FIVE STARS!!!

Excellent product at a great price!

I have used this product for several craft projects now. It may or may not satisfy the scientists among us, but for the crafter/ordinary user, a great product thus far.

Great for crafts and in the garage

I bought these to use for my crafting, I make jewelry and also sew. They are accurate and precise. It's lightweight and easy to use. My husband has also used them a few times in the garage and now he wants one of his own. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a fast and easy way to take accurate measurements. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

Worth it

I got this for measuring pipes. It works pretty good. The display reads nicely and it even came with an extra battery. The only downside so far is that it is not really sturdy.

Well made.

I ordered this for my hubby who is a welder and honestly I was a little worried because I don't know much about callipers. When I pulled up my order and show him he was disappointed he said it would not last one day. Well he is actually very surprised and he is very pleased with it. He uses it every day and can't believe how well made it is.

Been wanting an accurate caliper for a long time.

This is high grade and I believe better than a stainless steel tool. This is made from the material bullet proof vest are made of. Carbon is stronger than steel so I’m confident this tool will last. It’s light and accurate and it’s affordable.

Perfect for stone and crystal jewelry making

This has made taking measurements of the stones and Crystal's I use in my handmade jewelry incredibly easy. It is very accurate and gets down to the smallest MM. The digital display makes it very easy to see the measurements and even though the window is smaller it is easily read.

Easy to use

Great price. I like that the digital caliper comes on when you use it without pushing a button. There is a depth gauge on it. The resolution isn't great but it's what you would expect for the price.
