An EXCELLENT BUY! FITS THE FLUVAL 12 GALLON EDGE ! ! ! !
My led light died on my Fluval twelve gallon Edge. The cost to get the actual light for that tank is too much PLUS there is always a question whether you can put it on (mine did NOT have those mysterious black screws). This fits perfectly on top of the tank. OUTSTANDING! Half the price and much more brilliant light both white and blue. Turning on and off is a cinch. I can't be more delighted that something actually worked out for me!

It's a good product simple to use no whistles and bells but it does exactly what I want. Your option is whether you want blue blue and white or just white light. And that's enough for me

Bright but simple lighting!
Works great and looks amazing! Amazon had a bit of a shipping error with me, but they corrected the problem so kudos to the customer service on that one. All the buttons seem to be working, all the light settings work. I believe this light is considered low to medium lighting for plants, so perhaps this is where the "it's not bright!" reviews are coming from, however coming from stock hood lighting, this is insanity! The good news is my betta doesn't seem to mind it, thankfully, and it lights up the entire length of my ten gallon. I can't wait to see how it helps my plant growth! I purchased a timer to really make this a worthwhile product.

Great little aquarium light
I got the 18-24" version which fits well on a 10 gallon aquarium, but it could be wider for better light coverage. The fixture looks very sleek and is low profile and very light weight. Doesn't output much heat either. There are two settings: "White" and "Blue". It is very bright when set to "White", a good light for a planted aquarium at 6500K. The "Blue" setting is for a moonlight effect, but I don't care for it. If you use a timer on the fixture so you only have it on for part of the day (which is typical for aquariums), it remembers which setting it was on. So I don't know how you would ever use the "Blue" setting automatically, it's only usable on demand because you cannot switch from "White" to "Blue" on a timer.

Works great!
Lights up the whole tank even though it looked really small coming out of the package. I bought a second one for my other tank. They are both 25 gallons (same dimensions as a 20, just taller).

Low profile looks great
Set up my 20H tank yesterday to begin cycling it. Added my substrate, water, & a few bamboo shoots I'd rooted from older stems. Hooked up the light bar, it's surprisingly light but not flimsy, then extended the brackets which slid out smoothly to position it. Turned it on at the convenient switch & brilliant light flooded the tank. This is so much better than the massive hoods we had to use before though necessary at the time. Love the slim look, & by positioning the light bar at different points on top of the tank I can highlight certain areas over others. Almost forgot to mention, the blue light was gorgeous last evening while I was reading. Can't wait til I can stock it.

WOW. Almost instant visible results!
Let me start by saying that I have owned this light for only a couple hours, so this has nothing to do with longevity or anything. But, let me also say I NEVER review things this quickly normally, but I couldn't NOT do it here. So, first off, let me say I have a 10 gallon planted tank that I have had going for about two weeks. I got a good amount of plants, all easy beginner plants that are supposed to thrive without much work. Needless to say, they don't look great, and for everyone who knows what this means, even my duckweed was dying. I had gotten my set up for free, so had no idea what the light was, and figured it couldn't hurt to get a new one, something that I know for sure is geared towards planted tanks. I got this light earlier this afternoon. Took it out, looked nice, easy to set up, plugged it in and done. About 10 minutes later I noticed what looked like a string in my tank, and once I got closer I noticed it was a continuous line of bubbles coming from one of the plants. I looked around and I notice a lot more bubbles happening, considering there had not been any at all that I noticed before. I honestly had to look it up because I was so baffled and did not think a light could be the cause that quickly. BUT IT WAS! Apparently bubbles are a great sign that your plants are producing oxygen and photosynthesizing well! 10 MINUTES people!!! Thats all!!! I was honestly shocked and amazed that this light had such a quick and visible affect on my plants. Here's hoping it holds up well because I'm guessing my plants are really liking it! Quick note, the light looks very nice, I like the colors a lot. Pretty easy to use, just play around a little with the buttons to get all the settings as it doesn't give you a guide on how to get to each color setting that I saw anywhere.

Price is not bad
Happy to say I finally found a light that makes the fish tank look colorful and soft on the eyes and does not heat the fish tank up.ive notice my plants and fish hanging more at top now..Awesome product I had to order another for my other tank

Perfect for a 10g.
Girlfriend just started a planted tank, and I was debating on getting her a fluorescent light because plants. This light is plenty bright, and debatably brighter than my own double T8 fluorescent lights. It's small, convenient, cheap, and bright. Now the question is whether it'll last the test of time, but considering LEDs they'll probably burn out after a few years. Still cheaper than T8 bulbs though.

Makes the tank look much nicer
This is an cool little light bar that illuminates my 25 gallon fish tank nicely. My tank is 24 inches long and the light’s arm extensions easily stretch far enough to sit nicely on the tank’s edges. The lights: day and night mode are touch based buttons which is cool. I have not had it long enough to know how it impacts plant growth but if you’re looking for an aesthetic upgrade then this is for you. Fish colors and background really stand out and look much nicer than a typical fluorescent light
