I actually used it for a totally different purpose

I used it for my car. Been fighting vacuum issues for several months and couldn’t find the leak using the known spray techniques. So I bought glycerin and distilled water to make sample liquid, already had a hose and tape at home... and hooked it up to my intake. Guess what, after a few minutes I saw the smoke coming out under the intake manifold! I would never find it with a spray technique on my car. It was a little headache to fix it but I finally found it. Great machine, worked like charm. Now I have several uses for it, partying and fixing cars. We also filled the garage with smoke when the kids came over and they had a great time that day. It works quietly and can produce dense fog but it depends on your liquid.

My fault for having lower expectations.. 😕 It surprised me!

This fog machine is impressive! It's small, lightweight, easy to use, priced great, and it creates some serious clouds! I underestimated how quickly and how much fog this machine would produce. I decided to test it out in my living room (mistake). Within a couple of minutes the room was completely filled and I could barely see. The lights make for some really cool effects too! I can't wait to use this on my next DJ gig! I'm going to have clouds rolling all over the dance floor! I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone considering. Can't beat this quality at this price point. 👍

Great little machine. Simple assembly and easy operation.

I ordered this fog machine as a last minute idea to have going in my yard along with spooky music for the neighborhood Halloween trick-or-treaters. I was getting concerned when it hadn’t been delivered by late in the day, but it arrived just in time. It was very simple to attach the handle and from there you connect the power cord and wired remote, pour in the fog chemical (I also ordered and added cotton candy scent to make it smell festive. I turned it on, waited for it to show the green indicator, pressed the button and voila!... there was a nice thick cloud being produced by this simple little machine. On the wired remote you’ve got to hold the button down to produce the fog. With the wireless remote, however, you can set it to go continuously. Which it will until it needs to heat back up. But in about a minute you’re good to go again. I do think I’ll look for some solutions that will produce a heavier fog that would stay more low lying. Not sure if that’s out there, but I’m gonna look. The lights are controlled by a switch on the back of the machine. They stay on constant when you turn them on, you’ll need to manually turn them off again if you don’t want them. They do give a cool effect through the fog. I’ve had several trick-or treaters already and they’re digging it. Several parents have made some great comments as well. My neighbor, who decorates elaborately asked what I had over here. I’m sure next year he’ll have one as well. lol Even though I’ve only owned this little machine for a few hours, I would recommend it for things like Halloween, house parties, etc. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how it will look in my pool area. Could make for some fun! Oh, and the cotton candy fragrance additive is great. Smells like we’re at a haunted Circus! 🎪

Clouds of Fog, Plentiful.... Compact, Easy to Use + *with Light On/Off Switch!

JDR Fog Machine with Controllable lights, DJ LED Smoke Machine(Red,Green,Blue) with Wireless and Wired Remotes Bought this Fog Machine to use for Halloween..... Excellent!! It was within my price range and was one of the only one's that I had found, where you can turn off the colored lights with a switch which the reason I chose this machine and made the purchase. Unlike most of the other brands available, when then fog machine is on, so are the lights and without a switch to turn the lights off. It produces a ton of fog, more than I really expected from a 400 watt mini fog machine. Excellent! Note: *Don't Forget to Clean out the fog machines pump & Lines before it is stowed away for the season / Helps to to prevent clogs and prolong the life of the product** Here's how: *** Easy to clean up for storage.... You can either buy a pre-made fog machine line cleaner or by the following method: I poured out the remaining unused fog solution. I then poured a vinegar & water mixture into the fog juice bottle. Then turned it on and ran the vinegar & water mixture through the fog machine until the lines were clear and clean of any leftover fog juice residue. Then packed it up to store it until next time I use it. I plan on buying another one..... Recommended - Great Buy!

Great value, good customer support!

For some reason, the white was a few dollars cheaper than the black one, but otherwise, they appear identical, so we got white. It's well packaged, and easy to assemble the bracket (it seems slightly too large for the machine, but fits ok). Filling and setup was easy. I forgot how to work the wireless remote at first, but once I got the hang of it, it's fine. Machine is tiny, sturdy, lots of metal. Real switches on the back are a plus. LEDs are pretty bright. Removable cords also. A few things to note: 1) The wired remote MUST be attached for the wireless remote to work. I assume it might be possible to fashion a loopback of some sort, but maybe that's where the receiver/antenna is. This isn't a hindrance really, just a little extra work. Pressing the wireless [LOCK] button runs the smoke as constantly as it can (with required heater cooldown of course) till you press [UNlock]. This actually works pretty well. 2) The RGB LEDs are NOT configurable. They are on or off all the time, with no effects, and are NOT a focused beam. What you end up getting is a blend of the three, which in the smoke is effectively just a "white" light (if you remember your elementary science class). I suppose some tape might cover one or more, if you want a specific shade. It's a cute add on, and has its own switch, so you can run the light independent of the smoke. Otherwise we are pleased with this, kids played with it all night. Vendor sent a message to make sure we were happy and to offer help if needed. Wow!

Great Fog Machine

This is a great fog machine, the lights really makes the fog look so much better. Even though this fog machine doesn’t have a continuous spray, you can put tape around the button and it’ll continue to spray.

Good machine

Works like a champ , save your money on fog solution though apx $ 20.00 . Go to Pharmacy and by glycerine apx $ 4.00 , mix 20 percent with 80 percent distilled water $ 1.50 . Works perfect , few blast hangs in room for almost an hour. Empty resivor when done , clean with 10 percent white vinegar to 90 percent distilled water , clean with several blast of diluted vinegar solution and store to next use. Good machine.

Works great for home party use

We are using this with a space-ship we built for Halloween. The "fog" will be shot out of the space-ship as it has crashed in our front yard -- should look like "venting" We tested the venting and are impressed. After a half hour warm up, the machine squirts out a fog stream some 8 feet in length -- more than enough to imply venting. The remote controller squirts and turn off squirt -- what more does anyone need? Cost is very reasonable for the fun it will provide us on Halloween.

Works well

The fog machine works well. It is able to output smoke for an arbitrary duration (up to the time it takes to cool, about 20sec). The remote can turn it on and off. More than enough for a large room in a house, it could probably fill a small restaurant with fog. It takes about 3 min to warm from cold, after shooting a jet it takes about 2 minutes to warm back.

It makes a lot of fog!

Used the fog machine several times around Halloween. Indoors and out. It makes a lot of fog...almost too much, but that’s fine! (I bought a good quality fog liquid). It was a lot of fun using the remote control indoors while the fog machine was outside. Surprised some trick or treaters. I can’t wait to use it again. I’m glad I got it The lights are very bright. Maybe they’d be useful at a dance party. I would skip the light feature if I had a choice. Guess I just liked the fog part of the machine.
