this is very easy to assemble and although its a bit small (for the price, its a great size), it fits perfectly in a closet or can be used as a nice small TV stand. im using this as a small table in my dorm room and it fits perfectly. this is great for dorm rooms!! the color is nice, too, and although its not made entirely out of wood, it looks like its made out of only wood and metal if you dont know otherwise. elegant, cheap, and a perfect fit!

This TV stand doesn't take up much space so it's perfect for a dorm or small apartment. I like that it has two surfaces so I can store my blu-ray player and router/modem on the bottom shelf. My only gripe is that the legs look really cheap up close but from a distance it's not too bad. The stand is also pretty short. It isn't even a foot high which doesn't bother me but if you plan on using this in your bedroom, you might not see your TV from your bed. Overall, it's great for the price and it was fast and easy to put together. You don't even need to screw anything in.

This is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review for a product I’ve purchased on Amazon. I was given a free TV that I didn’t really need and decided to set up a little gaming station for the kids in their bedroom. I didn’t want to invest a whole lot of money for something I didn’t particularly want to set up so I went with this stand. This will be the cheapest most capable piece of furniture in your house! It’s perfect for what I needed it to do! It took 2.5 minutes to assemble and is sturdy once put together. I have it pictured holding a 40” TV. A PS4 will sit perfectly below and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the cost/benefit of this stand. It’s small.. it’s low to the ground.. perfect height for my 4 and 6 yr old boys.

I want to start off by saying I am not using this as a TV stand. Last month, I adopted a rehomed bearded dragon with MBD. I had nothing to place her enclosure on, so her tank sat on the floor while I looked for reasonable options. I wanted something low so as to not block wall art. I received this today and put it together in mere minutes. Many have recommended a rubber mallet to put a specific part of this together, but I used a regular hammer and cushioned the blow with a folded towel over the striking point - no damage. While this is still lower than what I imagined, it's pretty perfect otherwise. No scratches or damages when it arrived, easy assembly, and does what I needed it to do. My only concern is how well it'll hold the weight of the enclosure as the legs are plastic, but the weight is evenly distributed among the four legs. The enclosure weighs maybe 50lbs or so, and someone had made the comment about it holding a 30g fish tank, and that's way more weight due to the water. Time will tell, and for under $20, this solved a month old issue.

Fantastic stand that can support smaller TVs, computer monitors, and anything else you’d like to stack on it. I was in need of a cheap TV stand for the bedroom and this product delivered exactly what I was looking for. I’d prefer it to be a bit larger since I’m using a 43” TV but that’s not a big problem for me. If you are in the market for a TV stand like I was, consider whether your TV has a central stand or if it used “feet” on the ends of a TV. If so, you probably won’t fit a TV that’s over 37” on this. If your TV has a centralized stand then you’ll be fine with just about anything up to 55” or so. The stand feels sturdy enough to handle moderate weight requirements. I wouldn’t personally want to stand on it but it’s sturdy enough for its intended purposes. I love the design as well. There were three to choose from and I picked the stone color with black supports and it looks sharp.

Per the attached photo, I am using it to elevate a 32" TV and house a center speaker and two small front speakers. I plan to add a horizontal brace beneath the upper shelf to prevent bowing over time. I read earlier reviews and lots of comments that leave me to believe that the manufacturer addressed earlier concerns. I probably spent more time hauling the box to the garage, getting out my rubber mallet and wood glue as recommended by other reviews than I did assembling it. Putting it together was super simple. No tools were needed. The support posts screwed into the upper shelf and the lower shelf had predrilled holes and fit nicely to the legs which also had screw connections. The height of the upper shelf is perfect because my center speaker with stand is about 8" - other risers were just too low. I downrated the sturdiness only because I would have preferred some form of integral bracing to prevent bowing. But, for the price, I cannot complain. As I mentioned, I found my wood glue so attaching a bit of horizontal bracing is not a big deal.

I’m noticing several disappointed reviewers and before you buy, please know this is an elevated tv stand, meant to be used an extension to what you already own. I purchased the original tv stand (same brand and color from Walmart). The stand was too low so ordered this as an extender. I only used the legs and shelf “B”. Shelf “A” (the base) wasn’t necessary for what I needed and I’m beyond satisfied. I apogize for not having a before, I was too anxious during the setup. Hopefully my “after” picture gives potential buyers an idea on how to use this product. Thank you for your time!!!

It's a piece of cake to assemble. It takes more time to open the box than it does to put it together. It's incredibly strong and sturdy. I orders another one for the far left screen in the pictures. It's going to match the middle screen. I'm really happy with this thing. Delivery was wonderful. It was funny, because I got a new screen/tv and I was setting up/organizing things and boom, this thing gets dropped on the porch exactly when I needed it. For the money, these thing are outstanding. This thing could be 75 bucks easily and people would still buy it once they find out how good it looks and how strong it is. I can explain how happy I am with this seller. Outstanding. Thank you and I just put the order in for the second one. "Can't wait until it shows up"!!!! :)

I recently decided to update some of my furniture to make it less "ghetto". After five years of marriage, I'm finally deciding to take my wife's advice and have nicer things than a teen living in the slums. Up till now my 42 inch plasma TV has been resting on a Playstation 3 Console box made of cardboard to raise it above the coffee table it's sitting on in the bedroom. I started looking for TV stands and risers, but all of them were either too low, too expensive, or too ugly. This piece fits the bill nicely. Not only does it raise the TV as high as the box it was previously sitting on, it lifts it around TWICE as high, leaving room underneath for home theater components (roku, switchbox, Playstation 4) which were previously spread around. So now there's room for a space heater, video game controllers, and a plant on the coffee table without blocking airflow and making everything really crowded. Build Quality This piece of furniture is made out of the kind of plastic used to extend your vacuum cleaner and particle board. Don't kick it around, body-slam it, beat it with heavy tools, or move it a ton. If you are expecting something made out of solid wood for less than 20.00 than I'd like to know what rock you've been hiding under. At any rate, if a cardboard box can hold up a 42 inch plasma, certainly particle board (which is basically as strong as wood) held together with plastic pillars can handle it no problem. If you item arrived scratched or broken that's not the fault of build quality. Solid wood would arrive heavily scratched or shattered if it got smashed too. Just send it back and get another one. Appearance The one I got is a lovely solid black and unless you are inches away staring at it in a brightly lit room you're not going to notice the pillars are plastic. Likewise, just about all home theater furniture is made of painted particle board unless you're rich and buying something really high grade. I think it looks great. The black virtually disappears when the lights are out and complements my black TV and black PS4, switchbox, and Roku nicely. Build Time It took me 6 minutes to assemble this item and maybe 10-15 minutes to install everything (lift the TV on top, rewire components so they sit inside the stand). There's basically three steps to the instructions and they couldn't be more simple. You COULD use a rubber mallet to make it easier to tap in the plastic screw holes, but any flat heavy soft object would do (I used an allen wrench rubberized tool I got for free years ago to tap them in). There's not a lot of resistance and they tap right in. The rest of the stpes are basically just hand-tightening (don't overdo it or you'll probably strip the plastic threading). I think a five year old could assemble this with a little help in like 20 minutes. All-in-all I am extremely happy with this item. It's much more useful and attractive than a cardboard box. I wish I had bought one years ago. Now to replace my Rubbermaid nightstand...

First one came damaged in shipping, so Amazon sent a new one really fast, and it was out of the manufacturer's box (which didn't have any padding the first time around, that's why the "wood" got damaged) and in a box with packing peanuts and such. Great job on the second delivery, no busted pieces. While it's really simple to put together, it seems fairly sturdy for being so lightweight. I'm using it as a riser for a 40-inch LCD TV and it doesn't seem like a strain. This was much taller than a lot of the other risers, but definitely not tall enough to just have this on the floor. (IMHO) Just be aware: The materials are fairly cheap-feeling, so I don't know how this would stand up if you "used" it like you would a regular piece of furniture. But to just sit there and not be touched, it'll do for the price.
