VERY IMPRESSED!

I typically stick to the name brand cameras, but I decided to give this one a shot. I’m actually VERY IMPRESSED, with the quality, size, color and ease of use. Everything is very straight forward, set up was a breeze and it eve comes with multiple ways to mount. It also has a time lapse feature on it. The display screen is a plus, especially for this price range. I can look at my photos, without having to remove the card, and delete the ones I don’t want. You can also choose your resolution, set the burst count, and video time. I think I’m going to love this trail camera!

24 Hour Security

I was looking for a compact trail camera for me to use up at my cabin and came across the Letscom Trail Cam. It has a 16 MP camera and records 1080P videos that you can preview on the built in screen inside the camera and an SD slot to store pictures or videos. The night vision feature allows you to capture any movement in the dark. The camera also has multiple setting for the motion sensor to catch the perfect shot. It runs on 4 AA batteries and has a mounting plate or strap depending on my needs.

Nice camera for the price.

This is a nice camera. I have 8 other trail cameras that are various name brands. This one does just as good of a job for half the price or less. I set it up in my yard to test it’s been catching the dog and kids playing all afternoon and evening. I’d buy it again

High quality for a great price.

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: The Letscom Digital Trail Camera JDL-201. This thing is sweet! From the moment I received the product I was excited. The box and packaging is excellent. The specks of the camera are clearly labeled on the box and in the instructions. The camera is compact, lightweight and easy to setup. I put in a standard SD card and 4 rechargeable batteries I was able to set up the camera features within 5 minutes. You can control features like time stamp, photo quality up to 16mp, Video quality up to 1080p with audio, and time lapse features. The camera comes out of the box with a mounting strap, a permanent mounting stand with screws it can screw into, a docking cord. All high strength and very durable. The quality of the photos is excellent; I was surprised how far it was detecting movement. I put this in my back yard facing the ally and was able to catch movement of the neighbors, pets, small critters, and cars parking in the complex next door. This is perfect for catching photos of wild life but I can see utilizing this for security purposes as well. Great night shots the Infrared features are great allowing clear pictures in the dark. Overall I am impressed with the quality of this product and would purchase it again. ______________________________________________________________ PROS: 1. Compact with a great design 2. Absolutely effortless!

This is one of the better cameras I've bought. The motion detection is very responsive and it makes no noise! The night vision works well, not at all spotty. It's very easy to take out of the box and get sweet up. Strapping to the post was a breeze. It clearly captures vehicles and their license plates both day and night too!

Amazing Value, Excellent Product

I'm not one for hunting or tracking, but I thought I'd give one of these cameras a chance. Motion activated still images and video, at a resolution that can't be beat. I put the camera up around my property and street. Mostly wanting to test the weather resistance and performance in the field. I have to say, I was blown away. Even using it as a single shot portrait camera, the quality of the image is far beyond what I expected. Additionally, my camera spent over 4 days in the rain outside, yet returned in mint condition. A few things I noticed; the manufacturer states to use a Class 10 SD card at least, through my own testing I discovered that it won't even recognize anything lower than Class 4. SD cards are cheap now, I picked up a 32Gb Class 10 for $6, and have been using that since. Another thing, the lowest setting for video record delay is 5 seconds, and while that may be fine for tracking game, and watching subjects slowly move across the field of view, I found that with cars especially, I'd be lucky to capture the tail end, if not just an empty picture. In sum, I couldn't be happier with this product. For the money, it's definitely worth it. Even if you only use the camera for surveillance and motion detection around the home. This camera has my full endorsement.

Small, good pictures and only 4 batteries

Great "little" camera, takes nice clear photos and video and love it only takes 4 batteries. It also has a light that you can use to aim and verify the motion sensors are picking you (or target) up. Things that could be improved are make the “low” glow into a “no” glow at night. Make latch and hinge smaller and give a tighter profile so, the width is as small as possible (length already good) as well. I use these for hunting and photographing wildlife and the lighter and smaller they are the better to carry in the woods and field. I also use cameras for security so, a true no glow and small size is important. I already bought a second one (got -15% off @ Amazon) and we'll see how they hold up in the weather and battery life first.
