Nice and simple to use cable that fits well into the micro usb of the Samsung s5 phone.

I plugged this into my Samsung s5 and plugged in a flash drive, FAT format, and it worked beautifully. Phone file system app symbol came up and was quickly accessible. I was able to access the videos and music easily and scan thru with no hesitation. I did come up with a problem when I plugged in a ntfs file system 64gb microsd card into a sd card into a sd adapter into the usb end. The phone did not recognise the format, I reformatted to exFAT file system flooded up videos of up to 18gb big and was able to view it and scan flawlessly with no hesitation. I don't know if the problem is the adapter combination or the phone file system. I'm leaning towards the phone. I have used wireless readers that and am able to access NTSF file system but that is through a dedicated app that is the only way to access the drive. In any event it's not the cables fault. I like using the cable as opposed to wireless access bc that's one less battery to worry about. The cable allows fast transfer of data for video etc, that the microsd card heats up. Nice and simple to use cable that fits well into the micro usb of the Samsung s5 phone. Lastly, the flat design of cable allows you to bend it behind the phone and stays in place, unlike those flimsy round cable that would just fall down unless you held it in place.
