Just started using it yesterday and it was great, good products

My first carving

They came with a good edge. I just needed to strap and finish a little. Handles are really nice. I am a beginner and so I didn’t want to invest too much until I saw if I really wanted to carve. This is a really nice set for the money, it can’t be beat.

Great buy

Very good quality for the price, comes with everything you need to start whittling. The sharpening compound is wrapped in white paper, don't accidentally miss it. The only downside is the size of wood it comes with to make a spoon. As a beginner I thought it was hard to scoop out the ladle part of the spoon because it is so small. But otherwise the kit is perfect.

Solid starter set

Never having carved before, I didn't know what I needed. The fact this came with a spoon to work on and try out the tools was exceedingly helpful. Everything you need is in this set.

Amazing!

Let me start by saying that I am so glad I went with this package. The tools are very sharp and ready to go. The gloves work great and are very comfortable. All around this was an amazing purchase! Started carving immediately. I fully intend to order more of these packages in the future as gifts.

The gloves make it safer!

Solid set, very sharp so I'm glad they included the gloves. That's actually the reason I picked this wood carving set in particular, because it came with gloves. I was almost certain, as an amateur, inward going to slice my hand open at some point.

Great starter set

Great quality tools and a nice starter kit for people getting into whittling. Comes with cut-resistant gloves, a leather strop, and strop rub. An incredibly well-thought out package set. Only downside was the wife said I couldn’t eat anything until I finished carving my first spoon; on the plus side, I lost five pounds!
