These are outright better than Samsung's own 3D glasses. We bought these after both pair of Samsung glasses that came with our TV had to have their battery cases glued shut in order to stay shut and hold the battery in place. Unlike the very thin design of Samsung's glasses, these are thick and heavy. This isn't entirely bad, though; the nosepiece is comfortable, and the side shields are a great feature on movie glasses since they shut out light entering from the periphery and distracting you from viewing. They also cut into your temples a bit less I find. Pairing them is simple, turning them on and off is even simpler, and thankfully obvious so you're not left wondering if you left them on. Battery life is fine, and being rechargeable means battery hassles should be largely forgotten. They come in a surprisingly nice case. Almost too nice, since I have no doubt part of the price is in this unnecessarily durable case, but it's not a bad thought either, because all the accessories and even the booklet are kept in one place, free of dust and grime and protected from scratches. Finally, and the biggest strength of all, they give a better image than Samsung's glasses. From the day I started using my Samsung 3D TV, I noticed minor ghosting, in particular any text was always visibly ghosted, and we just dealt with it. These glasses cleared that up 100%, and I went into the TV options and turned the 3D perspective down several points, and the image just popped. Everything looks better and there's zero ghosting. Who can guess why aftermarket glasses perform better than the manufacturer's own, but these do. Whether you need new glasses, are tired of replacing batteries, or just sick of an inferior image, these are what you need if you own a Samsung 3D TV.

I purchased this adapter to connect my laptop up to a home computer screen, speakers, Ethernet cable and some USB Devices. I have purchased these in the past and have for the most part been happy however they have always lacked one function or other until now. With this dock I can get sound out of my speakers, wired network connectivity and peripherals (even SD and TF Memory cards) in one device with one plug in! This is new ground for me so I am fairly happy and thrilled with this! **I did note that I had to plug it in and remove it a couple of times on one computer for the network adapter to connect. After that it worked every time. My other laptop worked perfectly first plug in. I tested the HDMI output to my TV. I even played a video from a flash drive on the USB C port of the dock with its video and sound coming out of the TV. One caveat here. You need to be familiar with your audio playback device settings in Windows to set that up. I had to specify that sound comes out the newly installed USB PNP Audio device and the picture and sound came out of my TV! The Ethernet cable attached and reported Gigabit speeds. I transferred data to a Gigabit attached computer with a network shared folder and the speed was perfect. I transferred data from a USB C drive to my laptops SSD drive and got blazing fast speeds that peaked at nearly 200MB/S though I could only photograph it at the 150MB/S I connected speakers to the audio plug on the dock. I set my default audio device to the USB PNP Audio Device and sound came out of my speakers. If I unplugged the dock the sound switched to internal speakers. I plugged the dock back in and sound switched back out to the speakers! Now that i have a way to connect two screens I will have to get a second one to give this a try. I will report back if I have any problems! All in all I think this will be a great dock for my laptop use at home and look forward to putting it through some paces and plugging less things in to get working at home

These are so much better than the flimsy ones that came with my Samsung 55" 3D TV, which were so cheap that the coin batteries kept falling out and had to be secured with scotch tape. These take a little over an hour to fully charge (which is indicated by disappearance of a red LED light) and last a long time (instructions say ~ 50 hours). The charging cable (came with one for each pair of glasses) plug into a standard USB outlet. The glasses fit well, as good as high end sunglasses, and the presence of plastic on the left/right sides (to block peripheral light pollution) really enhance the 3D experience. Best of all, there are no coin batteries to mess with! The case is very nice (not cheap at all) and keeps everything together when not in use - and prevents a cluttered look. The ONLY possible negative that I can think of would be, eventually, the internal rechargeable battery will probably wear out, and there is no obvious way to remove/replace them (nor any mention of this in the product manual). However, I expect that my 3D TV might end up wearing out before this happens :) Instructions do say that charging once a month will help extend battery lifetime.

I got a new laptop to replace an older desktop that had run its course. I wanted to have the functionality and power of my desktop with fixed network, video, and USB connectivity and the ability to easily disconnect the laptop and take it with me. I also needed to support two external 27” HD monitors. Being able to also support the laptop screen for a 3rd screen was also desired. The laptop by itself only supported a single HDMI connection in addition to its screen. This usb c adapter macbook pro has an HDMI connection which is nice for flexibility in monitor connections. Both support my monitor’s 1920 x 1280 HD resolution. I didn’t have a display, cable, or 4K TV to test the full 4K resolution. This is a minor negative as I still can support both of my external displays using the HDMI from the laptop in addition to either of these ports. Overall, this USB-C docking hub met all of my expectations and is a good docking solution with only one or two connections needed to have all the connectivity of my previous desktop with the portability of a laptop.

I bought this for my 2017 13" MacBook Pro after looking at pretty much every portable USB-C hub on Amazon. This is a high quality product that was well designed. The hub itself is made of high quality aluminum and the space gray color is a good enough match to my MacBook Pro. The USB-C plug fits securely in my Mac's Thunderbolt port. The HDMI port is a nice-to-have and would be convenient to use on the road (ie with a projector), but of course it was only 30 Hz (as are all USB-C to HDMI connections). I have a separate stand-alone thunderbolt to HDMI cable that I use when my laptop is docked at my desk that allows for 4K at 30 Hz. The pass-through power to my laptop is only 49 W (not 60 W as it would appear from reading the product description) because 11 W must be siphoned off to bus power the connected devices - again a limitation of the technology. Overall, this is a great example of a USB-C hub for a MBP, and I couldn't find any real flaws with the product for what it is. this is a great quality product that I would recommend.

As far as I can tell, there are not many USB-C hub products on the market right now. For users of the new MacBook line, Apple has their own $79 adapter that comes with a single USB port, an HDMI port and a power-input socket. Meanwhile, other manufacturers have come up with their own solutions and this is one of them. So far, I am pretty impressed. I have been using the new MacBook for several months now and I never found myself wishing for an adapter. When I got the opportunity to review HooToo's product before its release, I was curious to give it a try. Honestly, I had never heard of the brand and was not expecting too much from them. But when my review units arrived, I was blown away by the quality of everything, from their packaging to the build quality of the product. This hub is really beautifully designed. The packaging itself was minimal, elegant and looked like something that was meant for an expensive watch. Out of the box, the USB-C plug even had a protective plastic cap on it. The quality of these products is pretty remarkable. The top is made out of matte plastic that closely resembles the metal casing of MacBooks. My review unit was silver, and it looked a lot like the metal body of my old, silver MacBook Pro. The underside of the adapter is made out of some fancy, soft-touch, ever-so-slightly rubberized, plastic that feels great to the touch. The hub works exactly as you'd expect. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I've had no problems with it. The three USB ports are lined up on one side, not unlike what you would expect to see on the side of a laptop. The SD card reader sits next to these. The HDMI port and the power-input port don't clutter the space. They sit on their own sides of the device, at right angles to each other. This variant of the hub is probably geared toward MacBook users because it allows for charging of the device while simultaneously using the other ports. If you own another computer and are just looking to use the USB-C port to expand functionality, you may be better off getting one of the other variants that come without the power socket. Over the couple of weeks that I have been test-driving this product, I have been happy with it. I find myself using my mechanical keyboard with my MacBook pretty often and I've had no problems.

I have bought this adapter for a while. I bought MacBook air 2017 some time ago. Because the computer interface only has a type C interface, I need to purchase an additional adapter for me to use. I have a lot of products. Compare the performance, appearance, price and many other factors of each product. I often do ppt, so the HDMI interface is essential for me. Why did I choose this product because of its appearance, and then bought it back with a try. Finally, I proved that I was right. Just bought back, when opening the package, I feel that the appearance of this product is very interesting, it looks very delicate, very small, three 3.0 interface for you to use, and type c interface for charging, 4K HD video output. This product is really worth recommending, this is the advantage I think several must buy. HDMI port and direct stream 4K UHD or Full HD 1080p video to HDTV, monitors, or projectors 2, multiple USB3.0 interfaces, SB C Hub quick charges your MacBook Pro or other Type-C devices while connecting multiple peripherals or transferring data.USB 3.0 Up to 5Gbps data speeds 3, compared to the same type of products, the price of products with HDMI interface is generally between 30 US dollars and 4 US dollars. The price/performance ratio of this product is very good inside. The downside is that the interface is not complete enough, but it can also be used by us. This price is considered affordable, and the quality and product performance and stability are all good in pain type products. It works stably, the temperature is not high, and it is basically acceptable.

Don't listen to Samsung when they say you can only use their glasses with their TVs. I made that mistake. But I've learned better. The five-star reviews for these glasses are right: these are MUCH MUCH better than Samsung's stock glasses -- by a mile and a half. Admittedly, I've only just received these, so I can't comment on long-term durability or scratch resistance or any of that. But I can tell you that I've watched a number of my 3D movies with these glasses, and *every* *single* *one* of them looks *significantly* better with these glasses than with Samsung's own. I am delighted with this purchase, and plan to buy more of these. The instructions say to pair the glasses at a distance of just a foot from your TV. At first, I paired them from six or eight feet, and seemed to see more ghosting than I thought I should expect, so I very carefully paired them again from just a foot away as instructed, and didn't notice a problem after that. That would be my only advice: carefully read and follow the instructions. Once that's out of the way, I heartily recommend these, and plan to say so to anyone who will listen.
