Good size for everyday hot pads

I was impressed at the quality of these silicone mats/trivets. The size is perfect for any size plate/pan you want to place on top and there is enough thickness to keep a good air flow underneath so anything hot will not touch the protected surface. These can easily be washed in the dishwasher but unless you physically spill something on them I think you can just wipe and store. I originally had bought these to possibly use as a "lick mat" for my dog due to these being BPA free but after reading other consumer comments with possible difficulty getting all food remnant out, plus I was fearful that my dog might try to eat the trivet so I ditched that idea. Bottom line: The price is reasonable for using as intended as a trivet/placemat and many colors are offered. I bought the cool blue and it is a lovely refreshing pop of color. The seller was great with prompt delivery and secure packaging as well. Highly recommend.

Versatile trivets

I put these on my dryer to prevent items from falling off on the slightly curved surface. Works great. Even the cat stands on them to look out the back door.Pads can easily be washed off with water if needed. Bought a second set for the kitchen for drying hand washed items.

Very functional

These are great. They withstand heat right out of the oven. The mats are easy to grab and place. Pots do not move around like they do with my metal trivet.

Love these!

We have just redone our kitchen, including countertops. I wanted something to protect them when I bring out a hot casserole cake pan. I just love these two pads. They are actually fairly thick and large enough really for about any pan to be centered on and not touch the countertop. I can use them as hot pads to take something out of the oven, but most generally mine will be used as a trivet. They are pretty enough to just take right to the table as well. Also, I like that they are very easy to clean.

The Answer!

I have an induction cook top stove, which I love, but you simply CANNOT set anything on top of the stove or it will beep asking you to remove it unless you are cooking! I have a small galley kitchen (thus limited space) and I love to cook. I am always looking for space to put a hot pot, or dry a hand washed knife, etc This little mat allows me to do it all!. Hot tortellini soup sitting on the mat on top of the stove with no annoying beeping! Gives me extra working space and rinses off and cleans up like a dream! It's easier to rinse off than cleaning the top of my stove. While I will use this particular size for my stove top needs, it can also be used in the microwave as a splatter guard and to lift hot foods from the microwave. In fact I liked it so well, that I immediately ordered 2 more! 2 come in a package.

I use for hot curling irons

I bought these to protect my desk and vanity from hot curling irons. I never used them in the kitchen, but they’re great for the purpose I wanted.

Useful silicone pads

We purchased these pads to protect our custom made dining table. We wanted something more reliable than cloth pot holders to sit hot dishes on. These work well and look very nice. They are a nice small size so we use both if necessary. I keep them in a drawer near the table so they are convenient for our meals. They are quite easy to wipe down and are totally washable. Overall we are very satisfied with this purchase.

good product would love bright colors but matches by sink and prevents breakage of glasses- I have a very deep sink and the tendency to drop glasses and glass dishes helps keep the unbroken.

Excellent for pots/pans and hair tools!

This two pack is a great deal! Our counters can’t tolerate high heat and these work great. I use them downstairs for pots and pans and also upstairs as a hot pad for my curling iron and straightener. One is large enough for both my curling iron and straightener at the same time. They’ve withstood heat well and don’t show any sign of wear after a couple of months. They’re easy to clean with just a quick rinse of water!
