My daughter is a wild mix. She is Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Egyptian and Spaniard. Her hair is curly, thick and easily unmanageable if left alone for 5 minutes. It’s a headache and a half trying to brush her hair, let alone find something that will help nourish and define her curls without making her hair seem greasy or weighed down. This stuff is amazing. No more waking up from naps with a matted, fried looking mess of curls. I don’t have to give baths daily simply to reapply the product and it holds for at least 2 days, though I haven’t tried to go longer. **We do every other day, especially now that it’s winter for her skin.** I love it and will not look elsewhere. **PHOTO WAS TAKEN AFTER A NAP WITH NO BRUSHING NEEDED** DISCLAIMER: I do use this product with the shampoo that matches. They smell wonderful, the shampoo lathers up really well and you can feel the moisturizing properties in the shampoo itself. It leaves my daughter’s hair silky soft. I am perfectly sure that the leave in conditioner would work fine just by itself. But I cannot state how well it would work as I have only used it in conjunction with the matching shampoo.

Really great product

My granddaughter has extremely curly hair (pic included) and I couldn’t find anything that would keep her curls in for this very active 2 y/o. I saw some great reviews for this product so I decided to give it a try. I live in a small rural town with only a small Walmart and HEB and of course no luck finding it in my hometown. I traveled 1hr to the nearest city and after 6 stores ( Walmart and Target) still no luck. So my next best thing was online. So i thought.... no luck online target Walmart CVS or amazon it was “out of stock.” I went ahead and ordered it off of amazon and after about two weeks it was finally restocked. I really do like the product, but not sure if it’s worth the hassle. Sad!

This stuff is awesome

My 20 month old has very fine but extremely curly hair. It often gets matted in the back. I’ve had a hard time finding products that can help me get any type of brush through it. I used this today for the first time and was really impressed on how it softened the frizz almost immediately. I let it sit in her hair (I used it like a conditioner) then in the tub I rinsed it lightly but kept some product in and was able to get a brush through it!!! This is a game changer. Very happy with my purchase.

My daughter and I have pretty course and curly hair for being caucasian so I have always struggled finding products that work for her but I'm so so impressed with this stuff!!! 100% would recommend to anyone with a curly haired baby ❤

A curl defining shampoo for kids that actually works!

My daughter has a full head of blonde. beautiful curls, which means that every single morning I get to deal with the hilarious looking, but horribly tangled mess her hair turns into overnight. There aren't to many child friendly products that cater to curls unfortunately, so I was excited when I saw Johnson's offered a curl defining shampoo. I have been using the original formula as it was on my daughter and love the smell, not to mention the fact that it truly is tear free. I've been using the curl defining shampoo on my daughter for about 2 weeks now, and I actually do start to see a bit more bounce in her curls- and after I brush out her hair in the mornings, the crazy frizzy aftermath is less so, and her hair gets the curl back a bit faster than before. I've even started to use it on my own hair. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have that original Johnson's smell that I love so much! It has a pleasant scent though. Overall, Its definitely worth buying if you have kids with curls.

WORKS ON BEARDS TOO!!!

This smells amazing and works great in my daughter's super curly hair!! It even works great for BEARDS too!! I use this on my husband's beard and it makes it so soft, it unbelievable. So now we buy 2 bottles instead of 1😂😂🤣 if I could give 10 stars I would, this has definitely saved my face from his scratch beard😂😂

Must have for toddlers with curly hair

This conditioner has been a life saver for my toddler. Her hair was getting beat up by summer water activities and was becoming really strong with unmanageable curls. A very small amount of this conditioner has helped to restore her soft curls no matter how much water and summer wind she faces. I usually apply some after her bath and occasionally reapply after pool or splash time. The accent is also AMAZING — not sure what it is but it’s like a guava grapefruit spectacular combination.

Everyone notices the pleasant scent.

First things first, smells great! Everyone always asks what I’m using on my babygirl, complimenting the lovely scent. Not a bad price for the size. Started using when my daughter was four months and no adverse reactions. Finally, brings her curls out. Also recommend and use the leave in conditioner following. Just try it out, you’ll be sure to love it!
