Very Cool

I haven't used this on my plants yet or for basement mold. I did test it outside and I can say that it is amazing! Long distance spray and how small you can make the particles of water will blow your mind. I wonder if I can make snow with this... That will have to be a test. Since I have only had it 1 day, I can't speak on it's longevity. If it does fail prematurely I will come back to comment. Though, so far this machine is amazing! WEAR HEARING PROTECTION! WEAR YOUR PPE!

This simply works!

I have tried the pump sprayer with no success. I got the idea to use this when I tried to use my compressor and gravity paint canister, it worked but the compressor couldn't keep up with the continuous spray. At under $200.00 it is a very affordable option. The only drawback is the switch being on the back and the 120v cord. When you compare the sub $200.00 price to getting year-round pest control, it's a no-brainer. You can treat mosquitos and all ground-dwelling insects with the right insecticide.

Your family will think you’re a ghostbuster!

Not gonna lie, it’s a bit odd to get into the thing but it works flawlessly. Just you make sure and not try and reach for anything on the floor while the equipment is on your back or you’ll quickly find yourself on the floor, especially if carrying the full4 gallons. Yes, it works as it should and is quite lightweight but again, 4 gallons on your back is 4 gallons. That being said, it performs as expected and while not the cheapest, it bets buying the gas operated kind.

Works great!

Works great for an electric unit. I do commercial pest control, but don't own a mist blower. Bought this for use around my house to treat for mosquitoes. I called the company before my Petra mist blower arrived to ask questions. Responded quickly and answered any questions I had and were very helpful. Just a reminder, this is a mist blower and will create drift. Don't use on breezy or windy days, and wear proper PPE(long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, respirator, gloves) depending on what product you are applying. Read the label! The backpack is very comfortable like the ad says, and adjustable. Highly recommend this unit.

It was a used product

This backpack fogger was exactly what we were looking for. I was thrilled when it arrived until I opened the box and found that it had been used. I don't mind buying used products so long as I know that fact before hand. It is also customary to reduce the price on used items. More than that, it is appropreate to clean up the item before resale. When I removed the item from the box there was a strong chemical smell. There was dirt in/on the container. I've never had this happen when shopping with Amazon. My biggest disappointment here is that Amazon would pass a used product off as new. Not good. Update 2-4-19 We felt it important to add an update to our initial review because of the stellar customer service we received from Petra Tools. When we opened the box and found that it was used we could not be sure why it was returned, what that meant for the warranty and what kind of chemical had been it. There was a label on the box asking that we call the manufacturer prior to returning to the seller so we did. No sooner had I begun to explain what happened than the people at Petra said, "don't worry we will send you another one." There was nothing required on our part. They handled everything for us. It could not have been easier. Not only that but a few days later they called to be sure that the new unit had arrived. I can't say enough about how well they treated us. We did get the new fogger and it's fantastic. In the future, should we ever need to purchase a product manufactured by Petra we won't hesitate to go to them directly. They have definitely earned this family's loyalty. If all their tools are as well made as our new fogger seems to be I can't imagine having any problems but it's very reassuring to know that Petra will be there should the need ever arise. This little piece of equipment is amazing. The quality is by far comparable to any big name manufacturers. Has definitely made an impact for my company by allowing us to do fogging/misting jobs for mosquitoes. Great price and well built!

I've used it twice now and it works great! It also seems well built and will still fog/mist while pointed up which is a big deal when you are fogging large trees and under the edges of your house. The price for the unit also seems very reasonable.

Easy to Operate

My wife purchased this unit to apply neem oil to very tall banks of shrubs. The equipment is easy to operate, and the backpack harness enables her to carry the weight of the tank much better than a shoulder strap or tank handle would allow. she was able to climb up and down a stepladder with the pack on her back without issue. It appears the components are well made and after one use, she is very satisfied with its performance.

Great DIY Solution instead of 3rd party services

In our area, services for mosquito spraying are extremely expensive for a limited number of treatments per season. This product is fairly-priced and allows you to apply treatments as often as you'd like for a fraction of the cost you'd otherwise pay to a service. The unit is easy to operate and requires very minimal initial setup. It works well creating a very fine mist and has a great range. I can easily reach the top of 14ft+ shrubs without a ladder. The mist/fog it creates is visible so you have a good idea of where you're spraying. I do not find the unit to be loud, it's quieter than your average electric leaf blower. The unit is a bit heavy if you do fill the tank to capacity and it can be difficult to strap onto your back and wear around, though obviously as the tank is depleted, the unit becomes lighter. So far I'm pleased with the results and although I've still gotten a few bites since the initial application (I don't expect any product to completely eliminate getting bitten), I definitely see a big difference in our yard. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is desperate to enjoy their own yard again.
