Great cable at a great price
This is the second cable I've purchased from Levelhike and I haven't been let down yet. As long as you know what you're getting into this cable will not disappoint you. This is a plug and play solution at a great price. If you're expecting this cable to preform like the OSSC or the Framemeister you won't be happy. This cable is for people looking for a easy way to connect their retro consoles to their newer TVs without breaking the bank. The Levelhike cable is much better than the similar offerings from Pound and Hyperkin and this is what it should be compared to. So if you're looking for something simple to connect your retro consoles via HDMI the Levelhike cables are the best bang for your buck!

Great for the price
Played a few games with it on an 55INCH 1080p HDTV. Games looked really good when compared to s-video. The switch for 4:3 ratio kept the games from being stretched and I didn't have any issues. Tried it with the following games: Virtua Fighter 2 Command and Conquer Sega Rally Madden 98 Sega WorldWide Soccer 98 I have a few different HDMI solutions for various old systems and this is the best one yet. I am never buying a framemeister or one of the Uber expensive options, this does the job well.

Works great. Decent bang for the buck.
I rarely post reviews but just wanted to share mine since this seems new. I only saw 2 options. This item for the Xtreme brand. Both same prices but this was sold by Prime so I went with this one. Happy so far. Additional power source isn't a big deal since it's just a micro usb cable (not included BTW). My eyes couldn't take composite anymore. Don't make the same mistake as me by buying a normal composite converter. Spent the extra cash on this. Pros: - Nice visual upgrade for your favorite more powerful ran games. - Plug and play. No mods needed. - Decent price at $30. - Option to switch between 4:3 or 16:9 on the fly on the cable's box. Love this. I understand why people love only 4:3 but as a casual retro gamer lover it looks fine to me on 16:9. Glad they included this. Cons: - None so far. Will update as time goes by.

16:9 4:3 Get them both
Play stretched image or classic image with the switch in seconds. It's very useful if your TV can't force 4:3 output. By the way, you can get the best experience if your TV with gaming mode or gaming monitor with low latency

Best HDMI for the price
A great option for HDMI on a budget. It's not going to give you the brightness of a Retrotink but at a third the price, it's a perfect option for when you don't want to break the bank. I'm not sure who the 16:9 setting is for since it's just a stretched image, but the 4:3 is great.

Fantastic!
Picked this up so that I could hook my Saturn up to my Elgato capture device, and it worked flawlessly! I'm actually quite impressed, the games look great on this thing. Much better than trying to run composite through my modern tv's. I highly recommend it. Extremely easy to set up.

A great way to get your Saturn Retro gaming on with modern tvs.
I'm sure that there are better options for the detail obsessed fan that can afford to spend that money to get the truly best quality video, but for the rest of us who just want to get their Saturn operational on a modern tv now that it's getting harder to come by a new tv that even has AV ports, this hdmi cable is a great alternative. I kinda wish that the cable itself could somehow get it's power from the hdmi itself instead of a seperate usb mini cable, but that's the only minor nitpick I have with it. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

For the Price you can't go wrong
Great Price for a great product. The image on my tv screen is wonderful and the price of the cable is perfect. So if you read any reviews about the audio being wrong that is true the audio is swap but Im ok with that. I'm now looking at getting the rest of the HDMI cables for my Genesis and Dreamcast.
