Popular Choice at Preschool, Comfy & Functional

This shoe is great for my 4.5 year old. He can put it on and tighten the velcro himself, which is great for his confidence and also saves me time. I’ve noticed this is a popular choice among his classmates as well. The shoe feels lighter than some other sneakers we’ve purchased him, and slightly less cushioned, but he doesn’t seem to mind.

Exactly what I was looking for

New Balance has always been the best shoes for my boys. Was looking for something in wide without laces that tie. Found these and they are perfect. Couldn't have found anything better in the store if I spent the whole day shopping. Perfect fit. Great quality and my son loves them.

Perfect so far!

These were more pricey than I’m used to, but they’ve held up really well so far. My daughter is 3 and wears a size 11 toddler. Even though they’re a light colour, they don’t pick up stains the way I thought they might, and have remained looking good despite many hours worn in a sandbox. They have a lot of support for my daughters high arches too, which I love.

Good quality and sturdy kids running shoe

My 3 year old really loves these shoes. She loves to run so I didn’t want to get a flimsy, cheap shoe. They are sturdy and have already had a lot of use with no problems. Fit is pretty true to size. She had a little trouble at first fitting the Velcro piece in the slot, but a lot easier than tie laces.

My son’s favorite

My son’s favorite. He literally won’t even try any other shoes but these new balance. So we have them in every size since he started walking :-) for about a year now. I think they have the thickest footbed and really good support. Something New Balance is very good at. I feel confident that my son is wearing a good shoe.

great athletic shoe for young kids that don't know how to tie their shoes yet

this is a great shoe for our kiddo (6 years old) who hasn't quite mastered how to tie his shoe yet. I don't have to worry about him tripping on a shoelace on the playground. The shoes he had before this pair had grooves on the bottom rubber soles that would trap rocks/pebbles from his school's play structure area. These have a solid rubber sole with no openings for rocks/pebbles

So far so good

I was looking for a more durable alternative to the wide width Stride Rite shoes as it seems that the Stride Rites have not been holding up well. It has been about a month. I’m still crossing my fingers... but so far the soles are still in tact and the fabric is still connected to the soles, not to mention that my son thinks that they are comfortable.

My son LOVES these

Purchased about 4 months ago and my son has loved them each and every day he wears them. Compared to the target brand of shoes or any other brand for that matter they have held up well too! This is a pleasant surprise as we generally go through shoes very quickly. The only complaint is that the color schemes that are available are not visually as appealing. We ended up with the gray and red since we live in STL and cheer for the Cardinals, but he would have preferred a more "kid" color like green or blue.

Sturdy Shoe

My granddaughter isn't quite in a size 3 but around 2.5. These fit her good with socks. She loves the color pink! Normally she takes off her shoes as soon as she comes in. But not these. She loves them! I got extra wide because she needs them. The wideness is perfect and her feet do not roll over in the shoe. I'll buy these again as her foot grows.

It’s beyond my expectations I am so glad that i finally find a factory who made a realy wide and xtrawide sizes. I bought from too many famous names with xxw and the size was not correct even you cant tell that it is a wide size . I alwayse felt so bad like how much wide feet my daughter has but no the shoes were the problem. My 21 old months daughter loves them and i can feel that she is comfartable wearing them cause when i asked her if she want to wear them she will say yes (“ she was’nt doing the same with other brands she was crying and saying no she doent want to wear them “). Thank you for New Balance for thinking about wide feet and make true sizes and fit
