Great product

This product is very easy to use and very convenient. The timing is perfect. You can adjust the amount by sliding the door on top, this is the part I love about this item. Also there’s four slots for you to set the time, perfect features.

Great battery powered automatic fish feeder

Although this is designed to be mounted to the top of an aquarium, I'm using this to feed my Koi in an outdoor pond. I mounted the feeder above the pond in a simple waterproof enclosure (with opening to dispense food). I load it with food, set the timer and forget it for 10 days. I use 3 of the 4 adjustable time settings and set it to make 2 rotations of food distribution. The sliding door on the food distribution port allows for accurate dispensing of pellets or flakes.

The fish are surviving

I've been using this for about 3 months. I got it because I go out of town on the weekends a lot, and have several vacations scheduled. I do not use it when I am home. the first time I used it I came back to dead fish, but that was on me. I scheduled multiple feedings and had the slot adjusted way too wide. So I got some more fish (they're my sons). I've used it a number of times since, setting it to feed just once a day and a lower setting, and they are surviving just fine. So, as I suspected, that first one was on me. Not hard to set up at all!

This fish feeder is easier to program than any I have tried. It is easy to test the amount of food dispensed with each rotation! I am very happy with this feeder!
