I just got this delivered a few hours ago and got to use it with both kiddos. Might just have to buy another! Love it already!!! Son is almost 2.5 and daughter just turned 1 and absolutely love how I can use this highchair in multiple positions!!(Also have a Fisher Price one that attaches to a chair.) This one is a great replacement for the massive Graco one we have and I am very happy with my purchase! Seems super easy to clean and is very easy to change from highchair to chair and table. Sidenote.....why the heck is the pink one like $20 more than the green one???? Geeeeeez :\

My husband and I are enjoying are now almost 7 month old son. Let me start off saying that we don't have a lot of experience in the baby department. We are also people who like quality products. My husband was really worried it was going to be junk because of the price. So it surprised me that i love this very inexpensive high chair. I did a lot of research before deciding on this chair. The Trip Trap chair had some safety disputes and the boon seemed to have performance issues (per reviews). My mom has one of the nice graco high chairs which I like but our 1700 square foot house is shrinking with all the baby stuff taking over and we just didn't need all the bells and whistles that the graco offers. Now about the evenflo.... This is bare bones simple. It took my husband about five minutes to set up and I'm pretty sure he didn't even glance at the instructions. Color: I was in the other room when he opened the box and I heard him say: "it's green." I replied with well yeah our only other choice was pink... I walked into the room and before I could catch myself said: "whoa that's green". So yes, the green color is a very bold, vibrant, bright green. It works in our house though and seems to add a pop of fun color and at least we know our son will never fall asleep at the table because of the brightness of his chair. :) Material: The plastic is NOT super thick and strong. It feels like if I sat on it (which I don't know what my motivation for doing so would be...) it would probably crack. It does say don't use after the child is over 40lbs. It's almost a similar plastic to those strong sturdy clear storage plastic bins that you might store Christmas decorations in.... it does have some flex to it. The material that covers the seat has wiped off quite nicely but I cannot vouch for machine washing it because it just hasn't been necessary yet. The straps are the three point harness but in my opinion could have been made out of a softer material. The straps are a little rough/stiff and seem to trap food within the fibers pretty well so I may see if I can wash those up and maybe they will soften a bit. Footprint: This chair is a little wider at the base than I was expecting but not in a bad way. Since it is extremely lightweight and made of plastic I like that the legs angle out to give the chair more stability. We put felt pads on the feet and just scoot this chair all over the place. The chair: We talked with a children's nutritionist and she said for a baby's digestion it's actually better for babies to sit upright. This chair definitely sits our son upright. It does not recline or move at all. He would not be able to sit in it if he didn't have good core muscles and head control. Yet, you should know our guy was 6 weeks premature and is only 15lbs at 7months. There is a plastic bar that goes between his legs that helps hold him in and locks the tray in place. I have noticed for the purposes of the bar, we have to make sure his rear is scooted to the back of the seat then everything fits perfect. The chair also seems like it will allow for room to grow plenty. The tray: I love this tray!!! I can get it on and off no problem with one hand! It is super light. It is also on the smaller side which could be good or bad depending on your preferences/needs. I love that it is white and I can see all the gunk and wash it off. I also like that there is not an inner tray and another tray within the inner tray. One piece, take it to the sink wash it off and I'm done. My husband asked if it could go in the dishwasher. I'm not sure and I would be concerned it would warp and with the plastic bar it could be a tricky fit. Like I said its so easy to hand wash and rinse I don't think the dishwasher is necessary. The tray is not adjustable so that is something to consider, most of his food ends up in his lap. It's not a big deal to us though because the seat cover wipes off so easy and there are very few food traps (nooks and crannies) to gripe about. Plus we have noticed that lots of food that goes "overboard" actually lands on the table top that's halfway between him and the floor--it's like a safety net for flying food! I saw that someone gave this chair a "1" star rating due to a recall. Yes the chair was recalled and it was because some people had a problem with the tray popping off and their child then tumbling to the floor... Number one: They have fixed this problem, number two: umm it's called use the buckle and strap your kid in the chair, that is what safety straps are made for... The tray is to hold food not your child! Overall I love this high chair so does my husband and my son seems content as well. My mom, who owns the fancy graco, loves this chair. Lightweight, no extras just a basic chair. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I sat and read review after review on this amazingly priced high chair. I was sold on the color and the fact that it converts into a smaller high chair and a table and chair for a toddler. It is my favorite and in my opinion the best item I have bought for my daughter. Others have said that the straps are too small which I don't see how my little one swims in it. The only problem I have with it is that we practice baby led weaning and she makes a mess feeding herself so I have to constantly take the straps and the cushioning off and wash it in the sink. So I just left them off which is fine since my daughter is 8 months old and she sits perfectly fine by herself. The others are correct when they say that the tray is a bit too far from the seat so most of her food does fall but that's not a problem for us I don't mind it. The tray comes off completely fine and pops on perfectly. The whole high chair itself is pretty sturdy I don't find it flimsy whatsoever, but then again my daughter is a tiny girl and weighs in at 16lbs. The only thing I dislike is that the high chair legs don't make a clicking noise so I know its in when I attach it to the top of the table. So.... Pros: sturdy cheap converts & grows straps & cushion comes off for cleaning tray comes off nice & quickly (has clicking sound) scoots nicely & smoothly across floor no scuffing durable easy cleaning plastic metal legs Cons: straps are hard to remove tray a little too far from body allowing food to drop easily no clicking noise when attaching chair to table

Great value considering all the other high priced for similar quality high chairs out there. We looked at several high chairs before landing on this one and so far so good with our 8-month-old. We started with a Gracco Tablefit because we liked the convertible and collapsible aspect of it, but as we started to assemble it, we just weren't a fan of the patterns available (which I know sounds silly) but also it felt less than sturdy for the price, given all the ways that it can break down. We then looked at the Ingenuity™ Trio 3-in-1 SmartClean High Chair but when I felt the material in the store, the plastic felt thin and the padding a bit too thin to provide real comfort for a flailing infant. So we decided on this one, unsure. I will say for the price, it is a great value. Bummer that it takes up such a wide footprint and can't be folded for storage, but many of the other reviews have truths and some things we just don't find to be the case/an issue. For example: - Yes, it is a bummer that the tray isn't adjustable so the more my son starts to feed himself, more falls onto the seat. - Yes, it is a bummer that it doesn't fold and the base is pretty wide so takes up a fair footprint in our kitchen - Yes, it is a bummer that it isn't convertible to a booster high chair for sitting at the table. BUT it is certainly the right height to sit next to one. - No, it isn't a big deal to clean. I read the reviews about drilling holes. Seems smart. We haven't. We just wipe it down and it's fine. - No, it isn't a huge deal that the tray is attached to the piece between his legs. We never take it off. We simply slide him behind the tray. There's a ton of space. (This was our biggest concern before getting it.) My son is 8-mo/17lb now and there is still plenty of room for putting him in the chair this way. - No, it isn't too flimsy. The plastic, at first, does seem so, but the way that all the pieces snap together (and may have bridges inside the plastic to provide more structure) and the width of the base, I'm confident my son isn't going to topple the chair. So, all in all, I think this is a great value for the price and I can't wait to have a table for crafts after he outgrows the highchair use of it!

I purchased this for my 9 month old grandson who was visiting from Florida during Christmas. It was very easy to put together and well made. It does not fold up for storage but that wasn't an issue for me. If you can just leave it up you'll be fine. Very simple design makes it easy to remove the straps or seat cover for cleaning. The top portion of the highchair detaches from the lower section to create a table and chair combination. Very easy to do. I disassembled the entire chair and placed it back in the original box in about 4 minutes. My daughter, who has a much more expensive chair, likes this one better than the one she paid well over twice as much for. I highly recommend this highchair.

As a first-time parents, I'll admit I spent way too long trying to figure out which high chair to buy. A previous reviewer recommended this one with a couple modifications, which made this perfect for us. Here are my thoughts: 1. Remove the cushion. Babies have padded butts, and the cushions are annoying to clean. 2. Drill a hole in the bottom of the leg guard to allow water to drain. 3. The previous reviewer recommended drilling a hole in the indent on the seat to allow food to fall through, but I didn't think that was necessary. 4. This is GREAT for traveling. We just take the top part with us on road trips and fits well in the car. You can remove the legs if you need to. 5. The seat, tray, and desk are really to clean. Food wipes off almost effortlessly. The straps come off easily too and can be washed in the sink. 6. Our toddler loves being able to sit at the little table to eat and color. It's so cute! This seat definitely has grown with her. Anyway, I highly recommend. ***UPDATE: After 3 years, we still love this chair. It’s so dang easy to clean! We’re about to buy another so we can have two kids in high chairs. Can’t praise this enough.

Wish I had had this chair for my kids. Sturdy, easy to use, just the right size. My 1 yr old granddaughter loves to climb in and out of it on her own when the tray is off and it is divided in 2. It is low enough to be safe, designed so she can safely stand on the seat, and the little table is perfect for play, art projects, or eating lIke a big kid. It is large enough for other chairs to be added, too. If your child is picky or slow to eat, this chair is ideal. It is being used without cover or straps when low to the floor, so wipe up is a breeze. The tray does have to be tilted to remove just enough that you need to clear it of crumbs first, but the ease of putting on/off balances that tiny issue. The tray has tabs you insert into the arms, then press down on sides. There is a leg post for safety, which also supports the tray. I always preferred smaller trays on my highchairs, this fits the bill. I was worried it would seem cheap, but it is actually pretty nice quality. The designer really understands feeding kids, and having one piece of furniture that is a highchair, table, and seat is IKEA-type genius. They live in an apartment and love this. Would definitely buy again.

Used for both my children. I've had it now for 2 years and I know I call it the best high chair ever, but I haven't really used many. This is the only one I've owned and it is the best to clean. I've used others at friends or family's houses and they are so hard to clean. I wanted something that wasn't too expensive and easy to clean. I like that it can be converted as well. I have not converted yet, but will soon. The only thing I might change would be a little more cushion on the back part. My son tended to bump his head a lot, but my daughter did not, so it depends on every child. I just put a towel behind the chair for extra cushion when they were little. I did want a neutral color in case I had another child and this color was perfect. Did I mention it was super easy to clean. There is no part of the chair that is not easy to clean.

We currently own two of the Evenflo Convertible High Chairs and love them. Our son is four, so we no longer use them as high chairs; we use one as a permanent table/chair in our kitchen and the second as his desk for puzzles, toys, and crafts. I am a self-taught barber (20 years now) and have cut my son's hair since he turned two. When stacked, the height of the chair works perfectly for his haircuts and it keeps him locked in thanks to the detachable feeding table. Once we're done, after a quick cleaning, he can go back to using it as a table/chair set. The padding/strap-harness on the chair is removable, for more of a "big kid" look. Great quality and large enough to last quite some time (my son is turning five soon and it's still perfect). I recommend this product 100%.
