easy security
I purchased several of these camera, and the camera doorbell over the course of this past year. I needed one more to have a view of the entire outside of my home. They are easy to install and provide a good view of the perimeter of my home. I initially had some difficulty connecting one of the cameras to the Zmodo app. Customer service was very helpful in troubleshooting the problem. The one downside of so many cameras is the amount of notifications throughout the day. But, after a few weeks, I did get used to them. To explain how useful these cameras are, last week there was a two-car accident with one car landing on my lawn. The police came and asked if anyone saw the accident. I quickly looked at the clips on my phone, saw that one camera captured the accident, and was able to show and share the clip with the police. I am very happy with my purchase.

Inexpensive and Effective. Great picture day and night.
This is my fifth camera. Don't let the wireless fool you. The network connection is wireless, but you'll still need to run power. Since these will most likely be mounted on the exterior walls of your home, you'll want to fish that wire inside the wall and have the other end pop out near an AC outlet. Your exterior walls are insulated. You'll need a set of fiberglass rods to push through the insulation. My exterior walls are stucco, so that also means stucco patch. I found it easier to fill the hole in the stucco with caulk first, and apply stucco patch a few weeks later once the caulk had fully cured. This makes a clean, professional, installation that nearly is wireless. There is only a short piece of thin white wire that runs straight into the wall just behind the camera. The more professional your install appears not only looks nicer, but makes the would be malintented individual(s) wonder just how much you spent on this system. What other surprises are behind this? I can tell you in my case, a LOT! I started with the inexpensive stuff, beefing up the door and window locks first. I even put up fake cameras as a deterrent, and put security decals on every door and window. Did that work? The fake cameras did not. Someone tried to break in, twice actually. The beefed up locks stopped one, and the alarm system stopped the next. Correction, three times! I chased after one! The police caught him shortly thereafter. But without cameras, there was no footage. The police needed the video from the fake cameras. Sorry, not available. That's when we decided we need real ones. Something that stores everything offsite in it's own cloud backup. Something that runs 24x7, constantly recording. Something that will capture video day and night. Something simple enough for a do-it-yourself install, and lastly would not break the bank, or make us rob one to afford it. The ability to monitor remotely via smart phone is a big bonus too. Should we be notified of an alarm, we can pull up the cameras and see exactly what happened. These Zmodo camera's fill every requirement. Since installing the first few about a year ago, no one has bothered us. That doesn't mean we will no longer be vigilant. If there are areas we cannot see, we still want to be sure they are covered. Should someone attempt to disable a camera, we want to be sure another camera captures it. The fact that we continue to buy more and expand this system proves it meets all our needs. We would, and have, purchased again and again. You don't have to max out a credit card and do it all at once. Buy one or two. I'm sure you'll be more than satisfied. You can always expand your system later as time and funds permit. Oh, and don't waste your money on the fake ones. They obviously don't even work as a deterrent! Just get the real thing, and have real protection. The next time the police ask for video, it'll be on my screen before they even arrive, and I'll give them a link where they can download it. I'll even capture a snapshot or two.

Good outdoor/indoor camera that integrates easily with Zmodo mobile apps
This is my sixth Zmodo camera but the first one that is designed to work outdoors in addition to indoors. Like the indoor Zmodo cameras, setting it up is a snap via the Zmodo app on both iOS and Android, taking only a few minutes to set-up. It is sturdy and well-built. Night vision gives some extra white glare that could be improved on but, for the price, it is a good value. Cloud recording works smoothly just like my other Zmodo cameras, so there is nothing new to learn. Color viewing is great and vivid. Motion sensing and recording work as expected.

Good reliable and cheap outdoor security camera solution.
I bought a 4 pack last year for 99 dollars and payed it with the 7 day cloud subscription. It works well, generally captures too much noise so I opted to not have the app send me notifications all the time. You can change the zone where the cameras will detect, but still was capturing too much. Allot of times it would catch spiders and bugs. But I have been able use it to find pesky beavers, skunks and even a car theif on camera. Night mode works well and captures a distance from my driveway to across the street. All the cameras stopped working when my router died. I installed a new router with the same network name, but these cameras were able to detect the change in network and I had to reset them. One of my original 4 refused to reset, so I had to buy this one as a replacement.

These cammeras are super easy to install
I like the fact that you just turn the cameras on, use the app to scan the square picture and its game on. I bought 4, not all at the same time. That's another thing, make sure they are compatible with the same program or app if you dont buy them all at the same time. I use the IPC 360 app.

Very good quality
The image quality is pretty high, and very easy installation. The only concern is the power cord is not very long, you will need to stall the camera near the power outlet. That will limit your location to install the camera outside the house. But considerate the price, still a very good deal.

Good camera
Great camera. Easy to install. You must have Internet to use this camera. Very clear picture. Once your cloud service expires after your 30 day free trial u can purchase a subscription. If you don't want to purchase more cloud viewing then after the 30 days it will still notify you of recent motion but will only show like 5 seconds of what was making that motion.

What the what.
Cough...uh...damn. This camera is STATE OF THE ART. This camera will cook and clean for you, if you get the APP. Truly one of life’s mystery’s

For 20 bucks these are worth their weight in gold.
For 20 bucks these are worth their weight in gold. I get a motion alert on my phone and I know who and when someone or something is on my property. It's usually a bear or deer. But at least I know. I also used it to prove to my neighbors that the barking dogs they were complaining about weren't mine!

Can be used with 5G
Easy to install-I had 5G WiFi but with the help of zmodo customer service we were able to hook up to my WiFi without 5G. Works great, alerts me of any movement outside my home. I bought 2, but only hooked 1 up for now.
