Fits great! I'm a size 2x normally, bought the 6x based on measurements, and it fits great. It came prelaced, and was very easy to adjust by myself. The ribbons slid very easily while I tightened it, and feel very secure. Good quality. Obviously not as great as steel boning would be, but for the price, it can't be beat!! Excuse the unattractive photo, but I wanted to post a pic without it to show the difference. It's difficult to imagine this on when the model is a very different body type. Hopefully my before/after helps!

I ordered 2 larges, one black and one beige. The large black corset measures 13 inches across when tightly laced, and the large beige measures 14 inches across when tightly laced. Try as I might, I couldn’t get the black to look proper with the laces looser. The piece of fabric behind the black lace wasn’t quite wide enough, or else I would have keep the black one. The large beige is perfect right out of the box for a 28/29 inch waist, but the large black is too small. The western photo above had the black corset in their stock of costumes, which is what spurred me to buy my own. Hopefully a black XL will work! Thanks for reading!

I was impressed with the quality for the $12 price. I've bought crappier corsets for much more than this. I followed the sizing chart using my measurements and I was very surprised to be on the edge of XL and XXL when I usually buy XL shirts. The key is really the measurement at your natural waist. I read so many reviews where people bought a corset in a size much larger than their shirt size so I was concerned about it not fitting but I have a curvy figure naturally so I trusted the measurements and bought both an XL and an XXL. They both fit. The modesty panel is small so if you're right on the edge you might want to choose the larger size if you care about using the panel. The ribbons pull easily and I am able to lace myself into it. Overall I am super happy with this purchase and will definitely buy from this supplier again.

This worked well for my wife's Halloween costume. She received many compliments on it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the price. Plus, she looks hot in it, as you can see. She is wearing a size XL. Go by the measurements it gives you because I never would have guessed she'd be an XL in anything. She wears a medium in most things. Her dress size is about an 8. I'm very happy with this purchase and would like to get her some in other colors for different things like the Scottish Festival and Renaissance Fair.

I am (pleasantly!) shocked at the quality of this corset for the price. I have purchased historically accurate corsets in the past for ten times the amount I paid for this, and I'm shocked to say that this one is a decent knock-off. I won't lie, I bought this because of the prime shipping- I needed it that week to start rehearing a period show (1890s). From the price I expected to wear it once or twice and have it give out, or not have it fit well. I'm pleased to say I was completely wrong. Don't misunderstand me, it's not the craftsmanship of my expensive repros. It's not lined, and I highly recommend wearing some kind of washable undershirt underneath it. I did break a nail on the busk opening the first time I tried it on; it can be difficult to hook them properly, but once you get them right and you're laced in, they're not going anywhere. I'm not expecting this to last years, and I don't think it would survive the washing machine, but I've worn it for a month of daily rehearsals and a full performance run and it's still kicking. For the price, I don't mind if I end up needing to buy another one down the line. (The "thong" is a joke, btw. But I didn't buy it for that- I didn't even know it came with one- so it just went in the trash)

I love this corset. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and looks beautiful while doing it. I will say that you *might* consider sizing up if you are between sizes choose the larger - simply for the fact that you want to privacy panel in the back to full cover behind the laces from a style/look standpoint. I bought it to go under a costume and I actually have to size my skirt down by almost 2" at the waist to wear it with this corset. I will be placing this item on my wish list in other colours as well. From what I can tell, it is comfortable enough to wear all day. I will update after my upcoming convention if that isn't the case!

I'm trying to tight lace. I'm soft in the middle and typically need to go down one size to get the corset tight enough, some corsets don't get loose enough for me to tighten them. This one got loose enough and I think its tight enough. I still have some room in the back, but haven't had anyone really cinch me into it yet, and I went down a size to get the right level of cinching for me. I love it! This is just a cincher though, under the bust, not over, as in typically worn under clothes or on top of clothes for effect, so I am not sure why they include a thong with it.

Fits as expected. Make sure you go by the sizing. I bought a 6X originally since most of the time corsets run smaller but it was way to big so I bought a 4x and it fits perfect! I normally wear an XL / 1X in tops. I'm not a fan of the ribbon straps so much but for the price they will do.

The quality of the metal front support and clasps is great. The entire corset actually stays in shape and is very comfortable. Also, the tailoring - meaning seams and design and all of the sewing manufacturing involved - is without flaw as far as I can see. I've used the corset for only a couple of times. I washed in my front load machine and then hung to dry. No problems yet. As far as fit, I followed their chart. I ended up buying 2 of different sizes because the price was reasonable enough that I wanted to see the difference. The chart was correct, I didn't need to buy a size up. That said, I like a tight fit. I also bought a cup corset and like that. I don't care about if it looks so sexy - although I wouldn't want it to be blah and ugly. It's perfect and feels great.

I am 5'3" and 160 pounds, so that means I have some extra stomach fluff that I want to hide. I purchased the 4X and it fits nicely. The black brocade is lovely and classy. I even watched a video on how to properly tighten and wear the corset, which helps. Be sure to loosen the back ties, then fasten the front. After that you can pull the strings from behind and get it just where you need it.
